Soulbyte For Friday January 4, 2019

Retain connection to that which is most important. Though time slowly passes the need for change does not. Though thoughts intrude and old patterns seek to reestablish themselves, the true needs of the spirit never change. Though your desire body may be weak, your loving heart remains strong. Though your feelings about yourself may fluctuate, keep your intent strong and steady upon the new path of choice, for intent is the food of the SOUL, balance the fodder of the mind, and kindness and compassion feed the heart and strengthen its likelihood of remaining your driving force. Onward, one day at a time, one step at a time, one healing breath at a time. Don’t give up. You are worth it!

Soulbyte for Wednesday January 2, 2018

Pace yourself. You’ve only just begun. There’s plenty of time. Let things unfold naturally rather than push with ego intent. Let nature show you how to go about making changes in a positive way. Yes, make your decisions, set your intent, and then be patient as change naturally unfolds, like each petal of a flower unfolds when it is ready. But first, you have to plant the seed, tend it, and lovingly encourage it to grow; first a sprout, then a stem and leaves, and finally a bud will appear before the blossoming can happen. You can’t have the blossom without the necessary early steps of transformation. A blossom without roots and a stem is nothing more than an empty hot air balloon. Without stability there will be no true grounding and your intent will not flourish. Be patient. Blossoming will come when the time is right. Master the first steps and then nurture and wait. Hold your intent on the flower, but do not miss every joyous and necessary step along the way.

Soulbyte for Tuesday January 1, 2019

In this new time of learning and growth, learn to sit quietly, learn to breathe deeply, learn to walk slowly, learn to wait patiently. Learn to open your heart, open your mind, and open your spirit, so that you may be available to guidance from all around you, in the world and beyond the world. Make these inner practices your spiritual practices. Learn also to respect fully, share equally, consider others, even as you turn more inward and get yourself in order. Let this adjustment, this New Year, manmade marker that it is, be the catalyst you have longed for. Take care of yourself in a new way and let this New Year be the one, the marker granting you permission to finally just be you again, the real you, inside and out, matured and honed in a new compassionate way. And know that all other beings seek only the same, to just be at peace, within and without. Keep it simple.

Soulbyte for Thursday December 27, 2018

In times of great despair turn inward, knowing that although you cannot get what is happening outside of you right you can always get what is happening inside of you right. For when all is right within, all is naturally right with the world too. When there is love within, there will be love coming from within. When there is joy within, there will be joy flowing from within. When there is calmness within, calmness radiates without. As within, so without.

Soulbyte for Wednesday December 26, 2018

Remain quiet, contained, and centered within the self as the year winds down, as this phase concludes. As the old dies away and the new prepares for birth, consider your own process of ending and beginning. What within you is ending? What within you seeks life? What is it time to let go of? And what is it time to bring forth into life? Sit quietly and remember that the sun sets and rises again, that the moon has its phases, just as you do. Get quiet within. Stay connected to the truth of changing nature within and without and listen to your wise self who knows you better than anyone. With eagerness and anticipation focus on new life to come. Remain positive. Even in the darkest times the potential for light and the possibility of change are just around the darkest corner. Meditate on that. Meditate on the light.
