Artist’s Statement: At the age of seven I was delighted to hear that being an artist was something you could be when you grew up. It was such a surprise and in that moment my future was sealed. I never wavered. To this day I am still as delighted as ever to be an artist and that every day I get to work in my studio, doing what I have always loved doing, creating something that did not exist until I envisioned it. I have been an artist across many disciplines but always found that no matter what medium I was using or what project I was working on, the doing of the work was what mattered most. It is in the doing that the creative lives.
