No life’s path is ever perfectly straight, for to be in tao is to go with the flow, to be in tune, attuned, free to align with what is right in the moment. Some days are up, some days are down, as is natural. Some days are calm and some days are exciting. Some days are slow and meandering in their unwinding, while others go quickly and with great focus. Accept the tao of life, its natural unfolding, and go with the flow of what is, but remain always alert and aware, ready to shift at a moment’s notice, to take a new path, a new direction when it is right, for that too is being in tao.

A MESSAGE FROM SPIRIT

When in alignment with yourself, all things come to you: your memories, your truths, your answers. They all exist already in you, just waiting for you to discover them. With nerves of steel, with unbending intent, with sobriety and stability in mind, body, and spirit, you are in the good hands of your Self, your High Self, your Soul, the part of you that knows you so well and only wishes for your very best, for you to learn and grow, to come out of the fog and into the light. This, and more, is what the practice of recapitulation teaches. The first move on the part of every being is to align with Spirit, acknowledge its existence, its possibility, and to be open to its guidance. Begin there. These words I write are Spirit speaking through me. Without attachment, I pass them on. Spirit will find you too. Keep that thought uppermost in your thoughts and you will not be lonely or abandoned but only found, cherished, and loved. Spirit knows you. Do you know Spirit? It’s within you. It is you.

Sending you love,

Maintain conscious awareness of your physical body, even as you strive to connect with and know your spiritual self, for both are equally important and necessary as you make your way on your journey through life. Without a healthy physical body your spirit will struggle, and without a healthy spirit your physical body will suffer. Keep them aligned with each other in healthy ways, giving each dedicated time and attention so that one does not miss the other, so that each may flourish, and so that your wholeness will never be in doubt. This is what you are so longing for, a more balanced union with self, body and spirit. In full awareness of yourself as body and spirit, may you travel on your ever-changing journey in health and happiness, knowing yourself to the fullest, achieving everything you wish for.

Find solace in knowing that your spirit loves you and is always with you, seeking your attention, pushing and prodding you, knocking you down and picking you up again. You may call such happenings accidents, fate, or mistakes, but think again. Why do things really happen to you? Who or what is behind them? Everything is meaningful; everything is for a reason. Rather than look outside of you for the cause, to blame and shame, or in resentment, look inside and know your spirit, how it works to keep you in line, in alignment, and alive. With gratitude, accept yourself as the whole mysterious, magical being that you really are, and thank your spirit, every day, for all that it does for you, no matter how it chooses to get your attention.

A need for fulfillment is a common human need though many understand it only as a physical need, for it appears in a physical way, as a craving, a hunger, a deeply entrenched desire to feel the fullness of something rather than the emptiness of nothing. And yet, true fulfillment is much more than a physical desire. It is the desire of the spirit to partake in life, to be as present and important as the physical self. True fulfillment comes when the two sides of the self finally become aware of each other, when they merge and a new kind of contentment forms that centers on knowing that everything and nothing are but illusions and that true fulfillment is the energy of loving kindness coursing through the self, without need of anything, except to be lived.
