Watch out for energy drains today. There is always something that needs your attention, but you don’t always have to give it. You can decide to pull in your energy from what calls or beckons and stay contained for one day. In so doing you will pull back your energy for better use within yourself, to do something important and nurturing for yourself alone. It’s not selfish to be self-caring, to take care of yourself for one day; it’s actually a really good thing to do.

Keep alert but don’t panic. Keep on top of things but don’t overdo. Give your energy where is most needed but also protect it for what’s needed most. Let the outside world find its equilibrium without you, if that is the best thing for you to do. Or engage the world in whatever way feels right for you to do. But also track your energy throughout the day and make good decisions to protect yourself, and your energy, when it’s right to do so. For you can often get so caught up in something that you lose track of yourself, and before you know it you are depleted and exhausted. Temper yourself. Ground yourself.

Put your arms around yourself right now and say to yourself, I love you! I love you so much! Do this often throughout the day, reminding yourself often just how completely lovable you are, how much you value yourself, and how proud you are of the journey that you are taking through life. There is nothing more important than upholding a loving relationship with yourself every day of your life. For you are the most important being in your life, and you certainly deserve such loving support.

All our love,

Grant yourself some time off today, a little respite from the worries and challenges of life. Grab something that helps you to relax and let go for a little while. Sometimes just a few deep breaths are enough to begin the process. Sometimes a walk in the woods is all you need. Sometimes sitting in the first rays of the morning sun will make your respite that much better. It’s okay to say no to someone. It’s okay to withdraw for some selfcare, for a self-kindness day, for a self-strengthening day, for a little bit of alone time. Let the day unfold with the intention that today is a day to pay attention to the whole self, inside and out, and to let relaxation and calmness be the words of the day.

All our love,
The Soul Sisters, Jan & Jeanne

Remember the Magic Broom that we taught you about a few months ago? We advise that you take that out often and use it liberally all over your body, within and without. Clear the cobwebs in your brain. Clear away the incessant thoughts, the fears, painful ideas and worries that come to you unbidden. Thoughts are in constant motion, coming into your mind like an endless speeding freight train heading into a station, piled high and bearing goods that you have no use for. When that train approaches your mind-station, step back and let it pass. Don’t attach to anything you see on that train. Just let it go by without engagement. If something tries to get in, take out your Magic Broom and give negative emotions, ideas, and fears short shrift, whisking them far away from you. Do not engage in thoughts of worry or allow some foreign idea to get planted in your head. Sweep them away. Keep your body free of thought debris, physical detritus, and outside energy seeking fertile ground upon which to seed. Use your Magic Broom every day to sweep yourself clear and free, into joyous, vibrant mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.

All our love,
The Soul Sisters, Jan & Jeanne
