Disappointment is but a thought in the mind, related to something in the past. Let it go. Begin each day with a clean slate, no leftovers from the day before, the week before, the month before, the years before. Start anew with the idea that you are empty of all negative ideas and attitudes about yourself, your habits, your failures, your imperfections. Sweep them away and start over. You are a new being on this new day. Begin with that. Then add love, tenderness, and joy to your new slate. Add eagerness and openness. Add expectation of goodness, kindness, and compassion. Pretty soon you will have a new full slate, filled with promise that is positive and productive. Begin with that on this new day. For you are all that, and more. But that is for you to discover!

From the bottom of your own awakened heart to the top of your conjuring mind send only loving thoughts. Fill your mind with kindly phrases, with positive aphorisms, with the sweetest ideas to combat the negative, the worrisome, the detestable, and that which comes to haunt you with fear. Use your own light of loving wisdom, deep within your heart, to overpower the things that the mind conjures to scare and entrap. With love, begin and end each day. With loving thoughts, words, and deeds live each day as a loving, spiritual being in alignment with what your heart knows, for it is there that all your true answers lie, for the heart does know best. Learn to trust it.

Take your mind off other people and focus on yourself. Keep heart centeredness as your highest goal. Strive to attain loving kindness in all aspects of life, to raise your mind to be loving, to raise your body to a loving state of appreciation for all that it does, to raise your attitude to be loving toward all beings, including the self. Hold yourself to a new higher standard of loving kindness for all. It is the direction the world should naturally follow as well, all beings loving beings. It’s not that hard to do. It just takes one heart turning toward loving kindness in all aspects of life, within and without. Heart centeredness is the way. Love is the way. Be loving.
