When the world seems out of step with heart-centered goodness, remind yourself to turn inward to your own heart, and rather than bemoan what is happening in the world, blaming and shaming the leaders who just can’t get it right, set about righting the wrongs within the self, shifting into a mode of loving kindness for all beings, finding the compassion and love that you have within you and bringing it forth into your own world in everything you do, with every person you meet, and in every interaction, activity and project you embark on. Do everything with a positive attitude, a joyful smile, and a kind word, and you will, one person, change the world in the best way possible.

As you allow yourself to slow down, to withdraw from the competitive world you live in daily, with its judgments, criticisms, jealousies, rages and uglinesses, notice how unimportant all that becomes.
