When the world seems out of step with heart-centered goodness, remind yourself to turn inward to your own heart, and rather than bemoan what is happening in the world, blaming and shaming the leaders who just can’t get it right, set about righting the wrongs within the self, shifting into a mode of loving kindness for all beings, finding the compassion and love that you have within you and bringing it forth into your own world in everything you do, with every person you meet, and in every interaction, activity and project you embark on. Do everything with a positive attitude, a joyful smile, and a kind word, and you will, one person, change the world in the best way possible.

All over the world people are asking these questions, facing the truth, the reality that humanity has stepped into and which is making life miserable for so many people. We on the other side ask you to keep a strong and faithful heart, a good and kind heart, a loving and compassionate heart beating always in your breast. Keep up the good work of a loving being, for that is who you always are, a loving being. In the best of times and in the worst of times, your world needs you to remain as loving and kind as you can be. Turn always to your heart and ask it to guide you, to show you what to do, how to lead you to the next best thing. Listen with your heart, for it is there that we speak to you most easily.

As you allow yourself to slow down, to withdraw from the competitive world you live in daily, with its judgments, criticisms, jealousies, rages and uglinesses, notice how unimportant all that becomes. Notice how things begin to shift inside you into a more balanced and natural state. The true natural state of human existence is the state of loving kindness, compassion and love. As you allow this natural state to grow more prominent inside you, to fully embody your body and mind, you will begin to notice how truly natural it feels to let this divine substance of your Eternal Self be present, guiding and teaching you every day. Life is not meant to be too complicated. It’s the lack of connection to your Eternal Self that blocks your access to who you truly are and who you truly can be in the world you live in. Within and without, your Eternal self is your true self, and it’s divine in more ways than one. Don’t be afraid of it. It’s just YOU.

Give yourself some personal time today, to sit quietly, to contemplate your life, or to just be in silence. Silence within the mind is often hard to come by, but with practice you can achieve it for a few seconds at a time, and then, building upon that, for a few minutes at a time. The longer you can achieve inner silence the better you will feel. The longer you remain calm, the calmer you will feel when going about your day. The longer you stay heart-centered, thinking loving and kind thoughts, the more loving and kinder you will become. Don’t ever give up on love and kindness, there is still not enough of it going around. Be part of the energetic wave of love and kindness that will provide a much-needed basis upon which your new world will be built. It’s never too late to start, it’s never too late to dream, it’s never too late to enact the change you want to see.
