It’s not that hard to be a loving being, to open your heart to giving and receiving, to being generous, compassionate and kind. It’s not that hard to practice loving others in a myriad of ways. Even when you are only giving and not receiving you are practicing the highest form of love, for what is true love if not a giving of yourself to another, to a cause, to a need in some way. Learn to love by being a giver. It is the highest form of selflessness and it is the most fulfilling action you can take.
Intend that love be what fuels you, that love be your decision maker, your choice maker and your first action. Let love drive you, enhance you and guide you. You can’t go wrong when love is your source of knowledge, wisdom and action.
Let love be your guide into calmness, stillness, and balance. Let nothing bother you because love quiets you, body and mind. Let love keep you aligned with your spirit so that nothing causes fear or worry. Let love permeate you with joy so that nothing causes pain. Let love be your guide, your mentor and your partner.
Let love find you and teach you what it means to be a loving being, to hold love within and to send love outward to all you meet, even those who do not love or respect you in return. When met with disregard or conflict, with meanness or spite, hold yourself steady with the love within and send it to those who do not see you or hear you. Let love be enough.
Hold yourself in the highest esteem and with gratitude acknowledge the great journey of life that you have been upon, for you have already come far and done much. Accept that, and with that perspective in mind look forward to continuing your journey with new awareness, conscious of all that you choose to do, knowing that every day and every decision matters. With your spirit in the fore now, do more than just carry on; travel now with love in your heart for the good struggle you have had and the joy of knowing that with love comes a new appreciation for all that you are and all that you can be.
