Do not be fooled by what you hear. It is the human condition to both lie and accept what it hears as truth, but that is the fearful human who lies and believes untruths. That is the fool. This is not a weakness but a strength in hiding. For even such a fool seeks to maintain balance and so should be studied and considered a work in progress, a seeker. The liar/fool must constantly pay attention, must constantly string more lies to keep a falsehood alive, honing skills of value in the process. But would it not be better to put such skills to better use, seeking to align with truth and honesty, going where the spirit leads?
Dismiss no one; dismiss nothing. Consider everything you hear, but make your own decisions for yourself regarding your own life and how you want to live it, regarding your own actions and what is best for you. Take steps along your path of heart rather than along a path of deceit or discontent, rather than choosing ignorance. Guide yourself with wisdom and truth. Where are you not seeing clearly, being confused or blinded? How are you fooling yourself?
Hold the self accountable. Be responsible for who you are. Without blaming others for your life situation take over the care of the self more fully. Human beings like to look at others as the root cause of all the ills within the self and within the world, but the truth is that each human being is the world and is of the world, fully exploiting and fully expecting its needs to be met. If things are to change each human being must face the life they have created and lived, the life that is no longer viable for one reason or another. For some people this comes as an inner shock, for others as an outer shock. Either way it’s time to face the truth and change.
Only in each human being’s efforts to change the habits and behaviors of the self, and amending its habits and behaviors in the world, will balance be achieved. The real crux of the matter is the need for all to take responsibility for the self and the world. You are all accountable. You have all created the problems you now face. Only you can fix them. Time to step up and be honest, even as you expect others to do so. Time to step up and be the truly loving and compassionate human beings you are all fully capable of being as well. This is it; this is the real work of now, for all human beings, no exceptions.
Here is today’s Soulbyte. We will be posting an audio channeled message later in the day. And yes, Jan’s computer is back up and running. Hurray!
Creating the life you want is an art. It is also a process conducted on a daily basis requiring honest assessment of habits and behaviors that stand in the way of your endeavors. If a process is to be alive it requires constant attention. Like a fire, new fuel must constantly be added; air is necessary, and proper outlet is required.
Consider the self like a well-tended fire. Give proper fuel. Breathe. Offer appropriate outlet for that which must be released. Pay attention to what you add to the flames and what you decide to hold onto. Make choices that you can live with, but also that are growth-oriented. You do want to change, right? How you go about it is as important as wanting it. Your new creative project: Constructing a new self.
Health of body, health of mind, these two must be attained if one is to live life freed of problems and so that emotional and spiritual balance may be attained as well. This is the quaternity of the human condition: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. In balance of these aspects all beings will attain a new level of understanding of their place in the world and the health of the planet. All humans in personal balance will bring the planet into balance. This is the new paradigm, the new model of health. Each human being is responsible for the health of the planet by becoming healthy within the planet of self. There is no other greater charge upon the human race.
Stay in alignment, even as you are taken to great heights and great lows, even as you are teased out of balance by your usual habits and behaviors, by your insidious petty tyrants and your growth-oriented challenges. Remember: everything that happens to you is part of your journey, set up for you to learn something about yourself and to grow. You are also challenged to discern between what is personal and what is not. Some incidences are yours to consider and some belong to others. In other words, watch what you project and what gets projected onto you. Do your own work, even as you must let others do theirs.
To stay in alignment is to stay aware and make your decisions matter. May they carry you onward, each step balanced as you move forward on your path of heart.
