Maintain balance in heart, mind and body in order to navigate life with as few worries as possible. If the heart, mind and body are in synch, attuned to the rhythms of nature, to day and night and the cadences of the sun, moon and planets, then life itself is in balance too, for nothing is unexpected, extraordinary, or too much to handle. When all things are in balance, within and without, then all things are equally in their right places as well.

Keep your spirit attuned to, and tuned into, what is really going on inside you, within your body and your mind, and remember that you are spirit first. When spirit is given its place, it will more likely guide you spontaneously and without effort on your part. The effort is in training yourself to recognize and trust your spirit, that it truly can and will guide you properly and well, that it will not fail you. Trust is to be nurtured gradually so that you become fully open to your spirit’s intent and can allow its intent to become your own.

Health involves so much more than just the physical body. It involves the mind and the spirit, as well as an overall sense of place in the world. Seek always to unite the body, mind and spirit in the life you are in so that you maintain a healthy body, peace of mind, and a vigorous spirit. With all of these things in good working order, and in alignment with each other, your place in the world will become clearer to you. For when that which is matter is well and good that which matters will be as well.

You will know when it is time to make a change. A certain amount of uncomfortability will plague you. Your spirit will be restless and your mind will be unsettled. Your body may have something to say as well, letting you know that things are not well. The first step is to acknowledge that there is a problem. The second step is to embrace the need to change. And the third step is to begin the process by changing one thing at a time, one day at a time. With consistency, and attention to the process of change, your progress is assured.

Maintain balance in mind, body and spirit, not too much, not too little but just enough of anything so that there are no imbalances or cravings. To stay in balance is often a tricky endeavor but well worth the effort. In balance the mind is appropriately calm and appropriately busy; the body is in good health, neither hungry nor craving, neither lazy nor overdoing; and the spirit is known and assimilated, neither neglected nor overpowering. In balance a sense of overall contentment reigns and nothing is too much, nothing is lacking, and nothing is desired. With balance comes just the right amount of energy, intuition, and spiritual insight. Seek balance in all things and grow satisfied yet alive, healthy and well, in all aspects of self.
