In order for something new to begin, something old must end. Times of transition and change call constantly for endings. One day ends and another begins. The sun sets and the moon rises. The ocean ebbs and flows. There is a constant coming and going, in nature as in the lives of all living beings. Just as the urge for ending arises so does the urge to begin anew arise simultaneously. Practice endings and beginnings with awareness, noting your reactions. Are they positive? Are you looking forward to change? Or is it difficult for you? With awareness of the necessity for change, begin to see endings as the first step in a new beginning and to appreciate the cycles of life as they naturally occur for the greater good of yourself, and the greater good of all. Something new is always just about to begin.

Have no regrets. What’s done is done and cannot be undone. But with awareness something different can be enacted now and in the future. From this day forth a new path may be forged, a new intention set. A new direction that is positive and life-affirming may be established. It’s never too late to set off in a new direction. It’s your choice and choice is free.

Intentions are good but action is better. Good intentions will get you nowhere if they are not backed and fueled by action. Even better are intentions that have heart, that come from a place of right knowing and right action, from a place of heart that is pure, honest and full of purpose. All of this combined will foster new life. Taking the first step is hard but after that you will find your path of heart unfolding easily as you move forward with heart, mind, body and spirit aligned in action.

Change occurs constantly, though there are times when change is necessary, when there is nothing left to do but create anew. Sometimes it’s just the only thing to do. At other times change is so incremental that it’s hardly noticeable. You know the difference and when action is necessary. If action is not taken when needed, it will be forced upon you. So, are you going to change willingly and with determination? Or are you going to get dragged into it? The choice is yours.

Stand firm in your conviction to change, to move forward in your life in an upward growth pattern and achieve a new level of success, whether it be mental, emotional, physical or spiritual. All success is beneficial to the whole if it’s in balance with the whole. Remain aware of how what goes up must eventually come down so that to go too far in one direction may have to be corrected with equal growth in another direction. Balance is key to lasting success. Find your balance each day in small ways so that your overall achievements keep you balanced, safe and happy.
