Remain heart centered and nonjudgmental toward the self so that you may remain heart centered and nonjudgmental toward others. Use the self to practice loving kindness and compassion. Without blame or shame, teach the self to be gentle and kind toward the self while simultaneously asking the self to take full responsibility for the life you are in. There is a delicate balance where all is acceptable and all is acquiesced to as well, where you are both responsible and without fault for life’s unfolding adventure. Learn to accept and fully love the self in order to fully accept and love another.

Remain in awe. Though the world is in chaos keep awe in sight, for it is just waiting in the wings to show you the other side of things, the answers to the puzzles of everyday life, the joy in the darkness, the changes that though subtle will produce the needed shifts. Remain in awe of life’s unfolding so that hope stays alive and love remains manifest as the energy of now that will catapult you forward and into the awesomeness of life. Indeed, remain in awe.

Sending you love,

You never know what may happen or how life will reveal itself to you each day, but you can set your intentions for a heart centered experience no matter what happens. To discover that you are not in control is a big lesson, but to discover the power of intent is equally big. Use your power of intent not to control your life or to produce a desired outcome but to guide you on your path of heart, so that your heart remains steady, your mind clear, and your physical self calm as you take your journey through life. You’re already on the journey, so you might as well learn to go with the flow. It’s really the only way to proceed without judgment or regret, to fully embrace and enjoy every minute of the journey that you are on with a humble and open heart. Go with the flow.

Sending you love,

Keep a humble attitude even while you strive for the highest inner attitude of consciousness and awareness. Remain calm and at peace within your human self even while you seek to achieve your highest spiritual self. Inner balance comes when these two selves are known, treasured, and appreciated for their uniqueness, and yet also in knowing that you are not special but the embodiment of all that is, just as everyone else is. True unity and wholeness come when you realize this, that you are the same as everyone else, a part of the greater whole that wants only the greater good for all.

Sending you love,

Recapitulation & Higher Attunement

The real lesson of trauma is not that it grants us leave to be victims to be compensated, or survivors to be admired, but that it offers us a gateway to experiences of our Higher Self, offering us a way to experiences of our true nature as energy. Every bad memory is a doorway to accessing the lessons learned during our traumatic experiences, for indeed there is a lesson of Higher Consciousness in everything. Our journey through trauma has the potential to show us the way to achieving that state of Higher Consciousness on a more regular basis.

Recapitulation is about aligning with spirit and getting attuned to its potential, now, in a conscious state, rather than in the unconscious state of trauma. This is what all my books are about, recognizing life as a journey to higher attunement. Recapitulation is about taking the conscious journey to getting there, from dissociation from spirit to union with spirit. No matter the vehicle or method that gets us there, it’s what we’re all seeking, conscious union with our wholeness, the powerful spirit energy that we are.

Are we lucky? That which once made us a victim or a survivor has the greater potential, if we dare take it to the next level, to catapult us far beyond ordinary reality and ordinary states of consciousness. In recapitulation we learn how to do this with awareness. What once happened to us in a dissociated state now has the potential to teach us what we are truly capable of. How did we survive the horrific things that happened to us? Were we just the lucky ones? The answers all lie within us.

In recapitulating, in facing our fears and going beyond the defenses that have kept us safe and protected, we offer ourselves the gateway to our personal truths but also to attunement with our personal Higher Self, our state of Higher Consciousness, our true state of energy, light, and wisdom. It’s a journey not for the faint of heart but for the true warrior that lies within. And of course you have that warrior inside of you, it’s what kept you alive and still does!

Sending  you love and wishing you well on your journey to wholeness,

Jan
