Persist. Let not the tiny things bother you or keep you from your most important actions. Sometimes the journey is a turning away rather than a forward motion and yet even in those small turnings there is motion. Sometimes it isn’t the time for big steps but it’s still necessary and right to maintain movement in a new direction. Even when the goal is not clear keep focused on what is to come, for it will soon be in your grasp.
Keep things simple. Why complicate life when it is unnecessary to do so? Remain simple, honest and straightforward in everything you do and say. In everything you think and contemplate, remain on the side of the positive and upwardly focused so that you remain inspired and elated by life rather than defeated by it. What you think matters, for it constructs your whole attitude about life and your attitude about life can either make you or break you. Keep things simple and on the up and up and your life will flow effortlessly. As you learn to go with the flow so will life go with the flow of you and your intent.
When change comes unexpectedly the best course of action is to wholeheartedly embrace it and with a calm heart accept its place in your life. Sometimes new doors open, a new path appears, or a sudden change in direction is necessary. Sometimes survival means doing something you never imagined you could or would do.
All of these opportunities for change are also opportunities to change the self, within and without, and to do so with love, kindness and compassion will make the coming journey that much more meaningful.
When times are chaotic look not outside the self for grounding but inside the self. You have the power to change yourself, even in small ways, when you don’t have any power outside in the world around you. Your attitude matters, and it can make you or break you. Take time throughout the day to remind yourself often that your power lies in how you decide to react, think, and feel about any given situation. And that is power indeed!
Tend to your world with good cheer, a positive disposition, and a loving heart, for the more your attitude bends toward the good the more good you will activate in return. When things get bad, rather than get overwhelmed, switch to the positive, for more will be accomplished with a positive outlook than with a negative outlook. Keep your heart open and willing to receive the guidance that is available to you, and know that though you are only one among many you absolutely make a difference.
