Remain heart centered. Through thick and thin remain intent upon a path with heart, for you in your intent provide the right energy for the possibility of positive change. Remain heart centered in everything you do so that nothing is left to chance or happenstance, so that all whom you encounter are equally embraced, so that all you do is equally spirited, so that all you intend is equally envisioned. With your focused heart centered intent a changed world for the greater good is definitely possible.

Everything is possible, the good, the bad, and the seemingly impossible. Adopt an attitude of openness and wonder, dropping old ideas that restrict and bind. A warrior knows that the first step in changing the world is to change the self. Begin by changing what you tell yourself. A simple positive approach, rather than the usual negative approach will do wonders. A sensitive look at who you have become, largely because of all the things you tell yourself, will help you see how you have developed into the being you are today. Be honest, be direct, and be lovingly truthful with yourself. Strain the negative speak, the negative thoughts, the negative intentions from your life, and begin anew with fresh ideas, positive words of wisdom, new truths that invite the impossible everything into your life. Begin with that!

Without judgment seek equanimity and balance, even as you encounter those who seek none of these heart-centered attitudes but only their own desires. Be accountable in everything you do so that one more heart-centered being joins the forces of good. Be kind.

Small joys may be discovered no matter the circumstances. A warrior does not have to force joy, for a warrior always has joy in the heart, a secret stash just waiting for the moment of expression. For a warrior knows that all is not lost, ever. A warrior always has hope, a secret stash ready to call forth, for a warrior knows that nothing is ever totally hopeless. A warrior always has a secret stash of gratitude too, for a warrior finds that there is always a reason to express gratitude. And so, a warrior is always joyful, hopeful, and grateful, even when things seem the most dire, for a warrior’s path is always a path with heart, always.

A warrior knows the final outcome of life and yet lives as if there is no tomorrow, focused not on foolhardy endeavors but on what truly matters, taking to heart that every action matters, that every thought is capable of capturing attention, and that the only meaningful pursuit is a path of heart. A warrior takes life seriously and yet also knows how to play, how to laugh, and how to be free. But a warrior never forgets the goal in life is to evolve from a person who knows little to a person of knowledge, led by spirit and an internal compass that always points to the path of heart no matter what happens, within or without.
