Soulbyte for Friday September 14, 2018

Let come what may. You can’t stop nature. You can’t stop certain things. You are powerless before certain things. Admit it. And then remind yourself of what you do have power over, of what you do control, and of what you can stop. Look without and know that there are certain things that you are at the mercy of, that you cannot control. Look within and find your own power to shape yourself and your life as you would like. It is the inner power that matters, how you use it and what you bring to the table, in humbleness, in strength, in fortitude, in endurance, and in gratitude for all that you possess. Allow your inner self to guide you in making good decisions, even as you ask for guidance from your helpers, seen and unseen. Own your own power and make your way in a new direction that is right for you, in balance with nature and all that is true, within and without.

Sometimes it’s time to decide that something just isn’t working, that what you thought was the right direction is not. It’s okay to change your mind when something just isn’t right. It’s okay to change direction, to take a new path, but do so with a humble heart, admitting that you got it wrong, and then move on with kindness and compassion rather than with resentment and regret. The truth is that no time has been lost, for in the end great strides have been made, lessons learned, and thus your course of action was beneficial and growth oriented. In the end, as you move on, you will be a better person, more keenly aware of your direction and your purpose in life, having learned a valuable lesson, and that is good!

Soulbyte for Wednesday September 5, 2018

Don’t get so down on yourself. Learn to go with the natural flow of life, with its ups and downs, its highs and lows, its back and forths, with the way you feel one day and the way you feel the next. It’s the natural movement of life and rather than fight to maintain a sameness from day to day, or to avoid what will surely come, get in the flow of it all and see what happens. Rather than trying to control life, allow it to come to you in its true state. Accept it and let it take you forward without resistance or regret. You can’t really control it or keep it contained or consistent, so learn to go with the flow and enjoy every moment of it, no matter what comes. That’s real life!

Soulbyte for Friday August 31, 2018

Remain calm through thick and thin. Though your temper may flare, calm its flame. Though your ire may ignite, calm it. Though your disgust may rise, calm it. Though your fear may stir, calm it. Though your sadness may emerge, calm it. Though your hatred may erupt, calm it. Even as your joy blossoms and your happiness bursts forth let them come in calm waves, everything in like manner so that calmness may reign within and without. Acknowledge what comes but in calmness find balance, integration, meaning, and wholeness, your energy ignited to carry on long and strong, as it should be. For what is the use of a lot of wasted energy? Hone your energy into a calm river and walk beside it in like manner, a calm being, breathing calmly upon the calm earth. As within, so without. In calmness.

Soulbyte for Thursday August 30, 2018

Sustain, maintain, and retain your open heartedness, your loving kindness, and your compassionate presence in all you do, towards all you meet, in who you are, and in how you act in the moments that are most important in your life, as well as in the moments that are mundane and ordinary. Operate from your heart center at all times so that your life flows like a gentle river, with intent, with bountiful energy, and with all its gifts ready at hand. Practice being openhearted toward self and others in the natural flow of everyday life and find that as you maintain this openhearted self you become more susceptible to love overall, in all its varied forms, within and without. And that is good, for you and for others. As it should be.
