Soulbyte for Friday January 12, 2018

Be the best you can be at being yourself. And what does “being the best” entail? It entails being a kind and loving person, compassionate and open to understanding and embracing all other beings as equal. It entails being gracious and giving, eternally grateful for all that you have, all that you are, and all that you receive, even if it is not much. It entails a certain impeccability in all that you do so that you leave nothing behind for others to have to deal with as you make your way in the world. Being the best you can be entails growing up into all of these mature qualities with a mix of grace and humility, even while seeking always to be even better within the self and in the world you inhabit. Be the best you can be, always, for what else really matters? Begin small–just be kind to another person today.

Soulbyte for Friday December 1, 2017

Changes manifest in many ways, by intent or by happenstance. Often it is not what you want that is most right for you but what comes to you in other ways. You may have definite desires that never manifest, but if you step back and look at your life from afar you might notice how often things arrive uninvited. Such surprise manifestations come from the unconscious, another part of you that intends on your behalf, secretly, but just as strongly as your conscious self. This unconscious self reflects deeper desires of your spirit rather than what your ego wants. Spirit provides what is most necessary and evolutionary though often most unexpected. It might not be what you think you want but what you actually need the most. Gifts come in all kinds of packages. Is gratitude in order? Simply for what is?

Soulbyte for Wednesday November 8, 2017

Institute sacred time into your life, even 5 minutes alone for a simple practice of sitting calmly, breathing into your heart center, stirring up love, kindness, gratitude, compassion and gentleness for yourself so that you may have something to share. In every breath you take share some of your sacred self and then, each day, take time to replenish. Give sacred time to yourself so that you may give to others, even those you don’t personally know, in every sacred breath you take. With gratitude and generosity, intentionally breathe for sacredness all around, for sacredness to abound!

A Thought for the Day!

Our inner world and our outer world mirror each other. If our inner world is negative, our outer world will be negative. If our inner world is full of fear, our outer world will also be full of fear. If our inner world is full of stress and worry, everything in our outer world will reflect this and our lives will be stressful and worrisome too. On the other hand, if we do inner work to cleanse ourselves of our negativity, fear, stress and worry, our outer world will also be cleared of these negative and withholding energies.

If we are happy we will be received with happiness. If we are radiant and without fear, we will resonate that fearless radiance outwardly and others will benefit. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese man who studies water crystals, says: “Only when we have a receiver can we be involved in the act of giving.”

We cannot give if we have not learned how to give first to ourselves. Give the self love and gratitude today!
