Allow yourself to each day begin anew with renewed intent and a fresh attitude. Trust that your spirit has your best interests in mind and that it will guide and protect you as you forge ahead with determination and gratitude. Turn on the love within you and let it too lead you into each day, for with love in your heart everything is possible.

Spirit is guiding you all the time, trying to show you the way, trying to influence your choices, trying to get your attention. Pay attention to the subtle ways that Spirit comes to call as much as to the loud knocks or the sudden gifts. Everyday occurrences of Spirit’s call may go unheeded, but they are the ones you need the most. Pay attention. Get attuned to how Spirit speaks. Become aware. Over time you will find your way and with Spirit’s guidance may you be happy as well, within and without.

A warrior guards against impulse. Nothing is undertaken without first consulting spirit and waiting patiently for signs pointing to the direction in which a warrior moves next. Action is critical to a warrior, but only right action, and right action comes from spirit. A warrior tames impulses while simultaneously looking, looking, vigorously, all attention focused on discovering the next step. A warrior is attuned, within and without, to spirit’s guidance so that every step is a step upon a path with heart. If there is a failure, a warrior does not blame, bemoan, or regret but immediately and with renewed vigor returns to the path of heart, the only journey worth taking.

There is a message in everything. In every mistake there is a lesson to be learned just as there is in every victory. In the sounds and synchronicities within a day’s living there are messages to be discovered, the whys, the what fors, and the doings of spirit seeking to guide you to notice, to act, and to be open to all that surrounds you, to all that happens to you, and to all that calls out to you. What are you supposed to learn today? Know that spirit is always calling to you in some way. Be open. Listen. Be patient. But always stay upon your path of heart.

You Are Not Special

Nothing is original. Everything has already been created, dreamed, invented, constructed, designed, written, and delivered. When you can understand that, you can understand that you are not special, that everything is impersonal. Any yet, if you can pull out of the ether one of those dreams, one of those creations, and bring it to manifestation, then you have done yourself and all of humanity a great service, for everything that lives in the ethers, all those dreams, have value.

Without owning, give the creative its due. Even the recapitulation of your own life is the retrieving of a dream once dreamed, as equally impersonal as any other dream. Give it its due, its impersonal due, and then, without attachment, move on, reaching for another new dream. For you are not special. You are just another dream, plucked from the ethers.

This is what I plucked from the ethers today, and without attachment, I send it back to the dream that we are all dreaming.
