A warrior does not back down nor say there is no hope. A warrior keeps going, knowing that a stumble is not the end of the world nor that a hesitation shows incompetence. A warrior stays upon the path intended, taking each day as a new opportunity and each step as part of a bigger journey. A warrior moves on with alacrity, with the goal always in mind, with intent strong, and with the knowledge that the actions of every day past were important and the actions of every day to come even more so. A warrior’s intent stays strong and focused, even in the worst of times and even in the best of times, for a warrior knows there is no difference. And yet a warrior knows that there is so much more to life than good and bad, than more and less, than winning and losing. A warrior values a path with heart.

Practice patience. Learn the art of patient waiting. Learn to sit quietly, in contemplation, until you find the sweet spot within, the place of no attachment, where you are in perfect harmony, within and without. In perfect harmony all is right with the world, all is well with you, and access to all you need is right there. In quiet harmony learn that you are but a moment in time, a spark of energy. Make your moment count. Take advantage of the time you have. Learn to live to the fullest, for there is no time to waste. These are the lessons of sitting in quiet harmony, for patience knows how to be still and calm and also how to act decisively when the time is right, for there is always more to do, more to learn, more of life to live. Make each moment matter.

Stay committed to your path of heart no matter what daily occurrence comes to challenge you. Life is long. Life is complicated. And yet, life is forgiving. With gratitude, step out onto your path of heart again and again, knowing that you have taken the right direction, knowing that by your heart’s intent you are being guided, and knowing that all will be well in the end. All will be well.

Sending you love,

Soulbyte for Friday August 30, 2019

When something ends it signals the beginning of something new, a change about to happen, a new phase about to begin. An ending is a new springboard, an offering of a next step, the next fork in the road. Look forward to endings as much as you look forward to beginnings because they are as full of hope and promise, pointing the way to something new. Revel in the mysteries of life as much as you do the clarities, for in the mysteries lie the lessons, the discoveries, the roads to enlightenment. Allow yourself to bask in the freedom of change, for isn’t that what life is really all about, change? See each day for what it is, the next new step on your journey through life, pointing you toward your next answer, your next big awakening; another opportunity to do things differently. May love and kindness both follow you and guide you always, on each new step of your journey.

Sending you love,

Like ocean waves lapping the shores, like the tides ebbing and flowing, accept that change is inevitable, and yet accept also your own part in enacting change in your life. The human being, unlike nature, has a stubborn streak, an ability to hold back, to remain adherent to old ways, despite all encouragements to change, even though bad things occur, even death. Learn to go with the flow. Allow for new ideas; let in different perspectives; permit new thoughts to change your perception of life and how you do things. Without fear, try something new, experience something unusual, think a different thought. It might just be the very thing you’ve been missing, the very thing to set you free. Perhaps you’ll even finally find your path of heart because you dared yourself to change, despite all the inner warning bells set off by fear and old ideas. But in the end, in giving up control, you might just find something you never dreamed of, and like the ocean you will flow into new territories, just waiting to be explored. Is it finally time to go with the flow?
