There is a big difference between the light and the dark, between those who carry the light of love and those who carry the torch of hate. All beings carry both within themselves but some choose to exemplify the love while others choose the hate. It’s a matter of choice and there is no one else to blame except the individual. To choose the light of love is by far the higher quality, yet the hate must be acknowledged as well, for if it is not it will fester beneath the light and one day rise up. In balance within the self, acknowledge both the light and the dark so that the light may have more power and the love greater truth, while the darkness and the hate may lie satisfied beneath it all that it has been well attended to. In this manner, a true path of heart will never be disturbed and love may indeed lead the way.

On the cusp of change everything  is uncertain, everything is full of potential, everything is possible. Choice matters. Decisions matter. The next step matters. Each day matters as much as the day before mattered. Each moment offers an opportunity to do the right thing. Whether to choose the sword or to choose the path of love may be the biggest decision one can make at this time in human history. Each brings results, one with bloodshed and one with compassion. Both require intent, strength, and commitment, but only one requires kindness to be its guiding force. Let the path of love be the fire that fuels the change, for it will do no harm.

It cannot be stressed enough that the antidote to hatred is love. It may sound simplistic to say that love conquers all, that love is the answer, that love is what matters most, but there is in fact no other solution to combat hatred that is as free, as easy to access, and as powerful as the love you all have within you. Not only is it accessible to one person but it is accessible to millions. Give it a try, one person, one heart at a time, and see what it can do. It’s the most practical and lasting answer there is to the troubles that now bind you. Give love a chance.

Time for a power shift. There will be little lasting change in the outer world if there is not honest and truthful change within the self. Each individual is charged with finding the light within and exploring the darkness there, that which is the unknown self. In so doing, the beauty and the truth will eventually emerge, that which is unknown will become known, and the fear, hatred, and anger now so powerfully prevalent will dissipate and become null. Only the love will have power and you can’t go wrong with love. Let the love have the power.

All things that matter are matters of the heart, for the heart is the center of knowing, beauty, and love. The heart does not discriminate but seeks always another heart of like knowing, beauty, and love to connect and communicate with. Such is the possibility for all beings if they choose the language of the heart, where all dispute, dislike, and disparity fade away, for such differences are useless when only the matters of the heart matter. Seek your own heart’s intent so that the same intent of all beings may emerge and merge in unity and justice for all.
