Like weeds from a garden clear your path of all that stands in your way, all the debris of ages gone by, all that no longer serves you, no longer has significance or meaning. Clear your path so that your progress may be smooth and unhindered, so that you may move on toward the peace you seek. As you clear your path do so with compassion and thanks, for even weeds and debris give a chance to pause and be with what is, to study them and decide yes or no, stay or go, mine to hold onto or not. To clear your path is to decide that this life you are in provides you with all you need, and to put your attention there, on just what it is you really need to keep and to finally let go of, is good work indeed. Weed on!

Set a Gold Standard. Decide what has value in your own life. Place your attention there, keeping it in your mind’s eye as your ultimate golden nugget, that which you desire and value above all else. At first it may be something outside of you, for it may be difficult to find the gold within yourself until some digging has been done. Ultimately, however, it will be some golden something within the self that comes to mind whenever you think about setting your Gold Standard. What is it that you value the most about and within the self? Dig there.

Keep kindness in your heart wherever you roam, compassion near at hand. Though hatred may dwell in the hearts of many let this not sway you from your mission of peace and equality for all. There will always be the ones who know not love yet, who do not understand what it truly means to love, but that does not mean it should be abandoned by those who feel it and understand it and find it always at the ready. It will never lose its power nor go out of fashion. Its power is boundless, its strength unflagging, its beauty all encompassing. Let love be your weapon of choice, always.

After a while it becomes apparent that the old ways of doing things are no longer effective, that they just aren’t working anymore. At that point it’s very apparent that a new approach is necessary, a new direction taken, a new idea implemented. Some old ways, such as ancient ways, ancient rites, ancient wisdom still hold power and sway. They may offer the right grounding and the perfect catalyst to shift into a new way, a new phase, a new place in life. Heart-centered knowing and wisdom are about as ancient as they come. Connect to that within yourself to find your new path, your new way, your new place in the world. Listen to your heart!

There’s no doubt about it, life is hard and scary. Even so, do not let it bowl you over. Take from it what you will, give what you can. Find your way to a higher plane though it may be difficult, though you may suffer and struggle, for life expects you to fight for yourself, to make yourself heard, to leave your mark, to wake up and be part of it all, to fully live and to find fulfillment. Though you may be afraid, life is always offering you a hand, saying, “Trust me, you will be fine.” No one else is really looking out for you. Life, and all it offers, is really your only salvation. Living the life you are in is what you need the most, so get in alignment with it. Your life and you, it’s all you have and all you need. Together you are one powerful force. What are you waiting for? Afraid or not, grab it and go. Live!
