Intend today to remain calm and contained. If there is too much disagreement, don’t engage. If there is too much anger, don’t engage. If there is too much sadness, don’t engage. Engage only in that which perpetuates calmness, clarity, contentment, love and compassion. To spend the day angry does no one any good. To spend the day in peace helps everyone. Set your mind on acting with loving kindness today, with compassion but also with the expectation that others take responsibility for themselves in positive ways. You may actually have an opportunity to teach someone else how to slow down and find peace and calmness within. Don’t hesitate! Be the teacher of good that you know you are.

Chuck’s Place: Love Is The Greatest Power

Love is the greatest power there is…
-Artwork © 2026 Jan Ketchel

Love is the feeling and sensation of the absolute oneness of everything. Love dissolves the falsity of fear generated by the separatist opinions of now. Opinion has its inevitable karma, as a weigh station on the road to the truth. Have no fear. Love is the greatest power; its truth frees us from the prison of opinion.

To arrive at love we must first discover the deepest opinions that have ruled us. When we attach to a belief it becomes the operating system of our lives, manifested and maintained by the subconscious mind. Just because we have this power to materialize our thoughts—by making them real—does not mean that they express our deepest truth, our oneness in love.

Until we are liberated from the solitary confinement of our limiting beliefs we continue to live behind the prison walls of their construction. Old ideas may have created a negative, lifelong, self-fulfilling prophesy. But don’t be fooled into believing that the repetition of cyclic experience is a basic proof of who you are. Beneath, and above it all, we are the oneness of love.

The mighty carnival of outer life has not disappointed in its current tales and attractions of power. When you boil it all down, it’s all a craving for the attention of specialness. Even this hunger for attention is but a cruder grasping for love. The error of this attempt to coerce the oneness of love is in its motive power of influence for profit, manipulation and force. Refined love naturally attracts love, for like attracts like. Thus, being in the oneness of love is reflected in being in love without. Have no doubt!

However, the key to the power of love lies within. The marketplace of outer opinion is a slave market of diseased ideas and cures. The challenge is great enough to identify and unseat the internalized beliefs that have constructed our lives as unworthy of love. To simply state, with gratitude, “I am a being of love,” is to invoke the great power of love to subsume the misguided intent of false rulers within, as love takes up rule with the power of truth.

Intend the awakening of love to those most dear and those most feared. Energy healing is ultimately a telepathic experience of mind influencing mind. When we think of someone with the intent that they choose love as their healing modality, that thought travels on the energetic wings of intent and is presented to the subconscious mind of our subject. We cannot control the outcome of this interaction, for all beings have free will, but love is indeed the greatest power of benevolent influence.

Never share these acts of subliminal healing love. To do so is to risk an influx of self-importance that steals attention from one’s selfless healing intent. Furthermore, to share with another one’s healing intent is to invite the doubt or jealousy of another, which will also bring those thoughts to the subconscious mind of our subject.

Keep it pure, keep it in love, for love is the greatest power.

Loving thoughts,
Chuck

It’s never too late to make amends for any perceived mistakes you made, to in some way repair any damage you feel you have caused to another. It’s never too late to say that you are sorry for hurting someone or letting someone know that you love them. There are very direct ways, but sometimes the more subtle ways are more effective, more acceptable, and more reliable. Sending positive thoughts and affirmations to another person, good vibrations of love and appreciation, will land solidly upon them and they will feel so much better, and so will you. It’s very enjoyable to make someone’s day so much better without ever telling them that you have been thinking about them. Silent love is stronger than any spoken words of affection.

Sending you love,

Chuck’s Place: With Gratitude

I give thanks to the power of words to heal.

I give thanks to the power of belief to create.

I give thanks to the power of thought to hone.

I give thanks to the power of speech to express.

I give thanks to the power of telepathy to connect.

I give thanks to the power of heart to know truth and love.

I intend that the Greater Good for All manifest.

In Spirit it already has.

In Solidarity,
Chuck

Chuck’s Place: Rising Above The Negative Swing Of The Pendulum

Love, it’s a choice…
-Artwork © 2024 Jan Ketchel

All of life swings back and forth, like a pendulum. Civilizations rise and fall, moods run high and then swing equidistantly low, the tide goes out and returns with equal force. This is the law of rhythm, with its inevitable cycles, as well as the law of cause and effect that insists that every action be compensated with an equal and opposite reaction.

Although we cannot stop the multitude of storms that affect our lives, we can position ourselves to neutralize their impact upon us. On the physical plane, the decision to evacuate from a coming hurricane removes us from immediate danger.

On the mental plane, reaching the place of radical acceptance for all-that-is can largely mitigate the impact of negative emotional storms upon our lives. To accomplish this, the shamans of ancient Mexico teach us to suspend judgment.

To suspend judgment means to not take offense, even when someone very intentionally targets us. Here, we seek no solace and waste no energy in excusing the offender because of some tragedy or misfortune in their lives that may have caused their actions. We fully accept the possible coldblooded intent of their behavior. We don’t seek to find forgiveness. If we are not offended there is nothing to forgive.

Shamans view all encounters in the all-that-is of human life as opportunities to hone their energy for life beyond human form, on the subtler planes of infinity. Souls that are burdened with resentments are too weighed down for subtle flight and must first take up residence in dream bardos, where they learn to lighten their load by truly letting go of all earthly strings of resentment.

Shamans use the fact that any moment could be their last in human form to arrive at an equanimous attitude of presence to every experience in life. Easy to say, but while in human form we are subjected to very powerful emotions that would have us fully drive the pendulum’s potent swing of anger right back into the heart of our offender. How do we rise above such an instinctive reaction?

My High Self immediately responded to this question by singing to me its own version of Steve Winwood’s Higher Love : “Bring me to Higher Ground!”, with the chorus belting it out louder and louder. The message, immediately channeled from my High Self, was to sing, with passion, this suggestion to my subconscious mind.

The actual lyric is, “Bring me a higher love!” My High Self ingeniously delivered two messages to catch my attention and answer my query: To rise above an instinctive reaction, going to a higher ground, and to raise my vibration to the spiritual level of non-attachment, to the place of higher love.

When we raise our consciousness to the positive vibration of love we avoid the impact of the pendulum’s swing to the negative pole of hatred. We let that negative swing pass by, refusing to participate in its call for vengeance. We neutralize the consuming impact of negativity upon our raised ego state. Of course, we might need to take firm action, but it won’t be emotionally driven from negativity, but rather from the clarity of objectivity.

This exercise of the will, to shift its fixation from the negative to the positive poll, is accomplished, in this instance, by singing, with powerful emotional exuberance, the suggestion to the subconscious mind to manifest a landing on the higher ground of love.

Once the subconscious receives the suggestion, we experience calm and clarity, as we employ our intuition and reason to guide us to action. All we truly need is love.
