What have you learned about yourself? Every day is an opportunity to learn something new about the self and to advance a little more along your path to wholeness. And what is wholeness? It is the completion of the journey you set out upon when you decided to enter into life as the person you are. Your decision included many challenges. To complete your life and attain your wholeness is to meet those many challenges and advance yourself on the journey of your greater Soul self, the self that decided to embark upon life and take up those challenges. What challenges do you have before you today? Begin there. Simply be open to accepting what comes. It‘s always a good day to be challenged!

Times of great change that come unbidden yet seem well-timed, offer the opportunity to shift away from old patterns and behaviors. They offer the opportunity to begin life anew. Every leaving is a new beginning. Every break with something old is the start of something new. Do not mourn endings too much but look forward to what is to come. For surely you can count on life to continue to guide you forward in a new direction even as it guides you to halt progress in a direction that no longer serves you. It just means it’s time to head along a new and better path.

Take full responsibility for the self, for what you think, say and do, for how you choose to act in the world and how you take care of yourself. No one else can take care of you, guide you or show you the correct path if you have not done work on yourself and are prepared to take over your life. Childhood is a time of structure and guidance to teach you how to take over in adulthood. Some children are neglected or abused and not well supported while others are showered with gifts. Your beginning matters only in what you do with it. Either it catapults you or stagnates you, but even that is up to you. Do you see the glory in every deed done for and against you, and the grand opportunity being offered to take over your own growth and progress? Ah, life! Isn’t it grand?

Life’s lessons are often presented in abrupt form but more often than not in repeated form, in repetitive behaviors, do-overs, or vague wanderings that lead nowhere. When lessons come in abrupt ways, such as a major jolt that shifts you out of your comfort zone, look with awe at how life is knocking you over the head. When lessons come in repetitive ways look with equal awe at how life expects you to wake up and find a new path. Whether abrupt or repetitive, life’s lessons yearn to be embraced, for they are showing you the way that your Soul wants to go, a new path of your evolution, asking you to step up to a new phase in Earth School, to advance to a new level. And of course you are up to the challenge. What choice do you really have?

Prepare yourself each day to accept what comes to challenge you; be ready for anything so that nothing overwhelms you. Expect the unexpected and know that you can handle it. In this manner nothing will ever be too much but will only be the next lesson in this life, following up on what you experienced and learned in your previous life.

All of your lives are interconnected, building one upon the other, so that what you are challenged with now is appropriate and will lead you into your next most profound and meaningful process of growth and evolution. Contemplate that and know that you are on the right track.
