Stay in balance. Even as you expand your horizons and try new things keep your inner balance, your strong center, your sense of self and your positive outlook. No matter what is going on outside of you this inner balance is crucial, for it keeps you motivated, focused, clear and content. Each morning and each evening give thanks as you regain, reassert, and renew your commitment to staying in that balanced state of self that allows for growth, within and without.

Prepare to be surprised and nothing will surprise you. Prepare to be shocked and nothing will shock you. Prepare for the worst and the worst will not come. It’s all a matter of perspective. How you decide to view things and react are up to you. Get into alignment with expectation that expects things to always work out, that knows only positive outcomes, that holds only good intentions. Learn to go with the flow and expect things to always be for the best.

Renew your vows to yourself often. Remind yourself that you are a divine being who chose to live the life you are in; that you have a purpose in this life, just as you did in each previous life; that there are so many things you are missing, not understanding, not seeing, not getting clear on. And yet, there is so much you do get, in your feelings and emotions, in your insights, in your desires and wishes for something more. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Allow yourself the knowledge that you are learning new things about yourself each day. Be open to guidance and to what comes to help you. Ask for direct help when you most need it. And don’t forget to be grateful, for there is no greater connection to the divine self than gratitude through a kind and loving heart.

If allowed, compassion knows no bounds. If practiced, love has no limits. If started, kindness spreads like wildfires. The human potential is unlimited and yet it is often not even given a chance. Begin with the self to turn on kindness, love and compassion. A little more each day goes a long way. One person’s input into making the world a better place really does matter.

Let not the outside world interfere in the progress of your inner world. Both are important, but the outer world will not make sense until your inner world does. Let the inner world become more fully known, more familiar, and eventually the inner lessons will translate into lessons in the outer world and both will become clearer and make more sense. Pay attention to the synchronicities in your life, to the messages from within yourself and to the insights from the Divine. All roads lead to knowledge, but most significantly the inner road.
