Watch out for how the mind connives, telling you things that aren’t true, asking you to believe things that are not possible, letting you off the hook about things that are true, confusing you no end. Let the mind rest peacefully by adopting a process of deep breathing that focuses on the heart center, the chakra of knowing and beauty, of compassion and love. Think from the heart more often and see how things begin to change for the better, for you personally and for the world around you as well.
Find solace in knowing that the path you are on is your path, that you have always been on your path, that life itself is always showing you where you need to go next. Life itself is your greatest teacher. Your awakening comes in becoming aware of that; aware of life’s lessons, big and small; aware of yourself as a being both finite and infinite. The challenge comes when you ask yourself to stay aware, alert, and awake in every moment of every day so that you don’t miss anything. Sometimes the biggest lessons come in the subtlest of ways.
Engage fully in the life you are in, in the phase of life you are experiencing, so that you do not miss anything and so that you fully know every aspect of life in the present moment. Time changes things, and you as well, and to live in the moment is to embrace and appreciate yourself for who you are and who you have become. No moment is any more important than the last and yet each moment is ever more important. Learn to embrace the Now of You. Be grateful for all the gifts you are given, large and small, in each moment.
Balance within will bring balance without. If you are in balance within yourself that balance will extend naturally from you to all you interact with in your world. If you are calm, you can expect calmness in return. If you are compassionate, you can expect compassion to greet you. If you smile, others smile. When you are at peace within there will be peace without. What you are resonates. Keep this in mind as you go into your day and as you interact with people and pets, as you encounter emotions and feelings, and as you seek a loving and peaceful world, As within, so without.
