A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.

Our Daily Soulbytes are channeled messages posted early in the morning. They are meant as support and helpful guidance for navigating life’s many twists and turns. We encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.

Find happiness in small things, in the glint of sunlight shining through the leaves, in the sound of spring birds calling to each other, in the scurry to build nests and lay eggs, in the soft breezes that suggest fine summer days ahead. Let the calm and predictable journey of spring arriving assure you that all is unfolding according to plan, as it always does. Yes, each year there are changes to note, things unfolding earlier than normal, perhaps too many rainstorms or too few, perhaps too hot weather too soon, but in its own way nature calmly carries on. Do the same, carry on, but do so with a calm and knowing heart, for there is till so much more to come.

Whatever you think of yourself, think beyond that. Think beyond the ideas you hold, the image you carry and the prognosis you have decided upon. There is so much more to you, to what you can do and be. Let your creative self loose into new life, activity and experimentation, to find out what fuller potential you carry within that is unexplored, held back and not yet experienced. Little by little, one day at a time, dare yourself to live a little more daringly. Say yes to something new today and see what happens.

Misunderstandings happen all the time. They are normal occurrences in busy lives. Best to correct them immediately before they escalate into bigger battles. Conflict is common but agreement is better, common ground is better, peace is better. When there is conflict there is fear, fear of the other, and fear restricts, holds back and creates unnecessary pain and hardship. Seek resolution, within and without, so that misunderstandings do not lead to conflict and fear, and so that peace and harmony may be  restored, agreed upon and experienced.

Watch where you put your attention and what thoughts you generate, especially about yourself. What are you perpetuating simply by thinking it? Negative thoughts tend to have negative reactions and outcomes, while positive thoughts generate positive reactions and outcomes. Practice on yourself. Notice where you think negatively and how such negative thoughts generate exactly what you concentrate upon, in your body, for instance. A constant thought of pain will generate exactly that pain. Shifting thoughts away from pain, to perhaps happiness, notice how feelings of happiness arise. You generate what you think, so why not think differently and generate something new. Try it. As a personal experiment it’s quite enlightening!

When conflict arises in the world, notice how difficult it is to deescalate, how world leaders struggle to do the right thing, to make decisions that benefit the greater good. Some use conflict to promote their own agenda, others seek to avoid it. So is it with each human individual. The world situation reflects what is going on internally in some way; sometimes personal conflict promotes a personal agenda while at other times the wish to avoid conflict is the agenda. Within the self, study how conflict arises and whether it is being used against another or only against the self. Study the best way to resolve it, within and without. Look at the world outside of yourself and note how conflict only seems to lead to destruction. Is that really the wisest choice?
