Your true power lies within you, not in the world outside of you. Though you may seek to gain from what the world offers, it will do you little good if you are not able to bring it within and assimilate it within the inner self. An idea remains just an idea unless it is brought inward and allowed to blossom. A spark of the creative will remain but a spark if it is not brought inward and allowed to flourish in some creative output. Use your true inner power to cure the self of all that holds you from your true creative expression and then watch yourself blossom.

Let not your fears rule you. Fear is merely a blockage to all that you are capable of, keeping you from your fuller potential.

Blockages appear in many forms, mental, physical and spiritual, but all offer the same challenge; they dare you to move beyond them, to open the closed door before you and walk through it into the light of your own destiny.

Find balance within the self rather than looking outwardly. What is outside of you is merely reflecting what you think you need, while what is inside you is the barebones truth. Sometimes the truth is too hard to accept so time is spent avoiding it. But in the end, the only place to go for real and deep resolution to what ails you is inward.

Keep your head on. Remain levelheaded and soberly contained no matter what comes to challenge you. To go off your rocker, so to speak, never helps anyone, especially you. Contain your anger at the world and discover its roots in yourself, for everything that triggers you on the outside is only reflecting something going on inside you. Turn inward and investigate. The world would certainly be a calmer, more peaceful place if more people did just that.

It’s easy to say that you are a spiritual person but much harder to actually be one. To be spiritual is to live according to hard-earned and hard-learned insights, to hold fast to the true fact that you are more than mind and matter, and to operate fully and unconditionally from a place of love, compassion, non-judgment, and kindness, to fully express yourself from the heart, to let your spirit speak and teach you about yourself and to accept what it has to tell you. A lifelong journey of truth seeking and acceptance of self is a spiritual journey indeed, and well worth a lifetime’s probing. To know yourself is to know more than yourself and that you are more than that, for you are indeed a part of everything.
