Each day is a new opportunity to take another step, another right action, another movement in a new direction. Begin today as if it were a great moment in your life, as if it were the most important day you’ve ever lived. In truth, this day has never existed, and so, an unusual opportunity awaits. Intend today as a special day. With quiet intent, in small ways, make it so, for it is the next step on your journey of importance, that momentous thing called life. In every calm breath you take, in every heart centered moment, in every peaceful deed, in every small step you take, remember that everything matters, that everything you do is part of your wholeness. It takes a long time to change, for real change is an evolutionary process. Have patience with yourself and the world around you as you enact change in your life, one incremental step at a time, knowing that each day change is in your power. It is your most solemn duty as a warrior. It is your most healing balm, your road to freedom. Enact change, one day and one step at a time, and with the patience of a warrior carry on, certain of your goal, for a warrior always keeps the goal clearly in mind, patiently.

When there is a natural ending there may be sadness, perhaps regret, a sense of loss, but also awareness that all things change, that time passes, bringing with it the changes of natural evolution, and awareness that nothing ever stays the same. As a year soon comes to its natural end, let your heart look forward with joy for new opportunities, let your mind be still knowing there is a new chance to change the self at the deepest level, another leap forward into new life on the horizon.
