A healing journey may weave a mysterious web of circuitous routes that seem to have no end in sight, but eventually those circuitous routes will unfold and reveal the straight path ahead. Find healing in the everyday unfolding of life; in the plodding sameness of day after day, in the glory of each step taken no matter what lies in your path. With your intent set, there is no turning back; there is only the day ahead and what it will bring to further you along on your journey. Keep an open heart and an open mind, and with your intent strong await the unfolding of the next phase of your journey to wholeness.

Restrain that which has no place in a creative spiritual life, that which does not advance you along your path of heart. Do let go of excesses, as well as of limitations; those things that overtake you or keep you from reaching your potential. With all things in balance it’s so much easier to see the right path before you, to correctly read the signs that come to guide you and to know for sure what is the right thing to do when the time comes to act. With all things within in good balance then all things without will also be in good balance. Allow your spirit its freedom in this manner and your progress will be assured.

Find your way to your loving self, to your heart center in its vastness, and ask yourself the question: What is my path now, at this point in my life? Times change, people and circumstances change and evolve, as have you. Who do you want to be now? Look to your heart for answers. It will speak clearly if you listen. It will tell you what’s really going on, what to believe and how to proceed. You may not like the truths your heart tells you, but it will not lie simply to make you feel better. It’s only interested in what’s right.

No regrets. Make your life a series of happy events by allowing for change, by being flexible, and with a bright heart let nothing hold you back from being your true self. Too many conventions restrict, deny and inhibit the true self from being allowed to live to the fullest. But you are in charge. So make a life that is more, that is fulfilling and a delight to wake up to each day. Make a life for yourself that is creative in all ways, expressive of who you have the capacity to be. Don’t hold yourself back, which will only lead to resentment. No regrets.

Don’t give up on yourself. Keep going in the direction you have chosen. Stay on the path that will bring you the best results, the deepest satisfaction and a meeting with who you truly  are. A journey to wholeness will of course be fraught with challenges; they are part of the journey and necessary bumps in the road. A commitment to change the self is one of the greatest undertakings of a lifetime and well worth the effort. Plan on a day of reassertion, reaffirmation and resetting of purpose and intent. A path of heart is the only path worth traveling.
