A day of rest has surely been earned. A day of respite from the world and its troubles is surely warranted. Take some time today to give yourself a little quiet time. Step back from the chaos and the hustle of life and just breathe for a few minutes, with kind thoughts in your mind, with love in your heart, with calmness in your body. A few moments of quiet will do you a whole world of good.

Find places of solace, within yourself but also in the comfort of your home, in the serenity of your garden, or in a special place in the woods. Even city dwellers can find quiet places to sit and tune out the world. There are plenty of times in the day when you might wish you could go to your special place. If you can’t do it in reality, then do it in your imagination. There is nothing better than imagination to realize just how powerful you are and to experience what you are fully capable of.

Don’t get too charmed by the seemingly good side of a known negative entity. Don’t be fooled. Yes, people can change, but as you well know it does not happen overnight! Instead of focusing on what someone else is doing, focus instead on how you are doing. Have you centered and grounded yourself today? Have you said your inner mantras for prosperity and goodness in the world? Have you sent out a simple prayer for peace and unity? Have you aligned with kindness, goodness, and love for all? When something appears to be too good to be true, it usually is. We know that is an oft-repeated saying in your world, but it really is a good one! Pay particular attention today to what your heart is trying to tell you. It is there that the truth will be found.

As you begin each day find first your balance within the self. Find your equilibrium in your own quiet way. It will be different for everyone. You may need a few moments to yourself. You may need to be in the bustle of life, the cacophony of life, to know your true place. Or you may need to be in utter calmness and quiet to feel who you truly are. It doesn’t matter the technique you use to find your center. It doesn’t matter how someone else finds theirs. What matters is that you take the time to get there, that you give yourself permission each day to begin from a place of balance, groundedness, and heart-centered love. Make this centering of self a daily habit. It only takes a few seconds, a few breaths, a few centering mantras, or a small prayer for a good day ahead.

Don’t be afraid to pull back from the world, even when things in the world seem to need your attention. It’s not your job to serve the entire world, or to solve the problems of the entire world. Your job, in your current lifetime, is to find your True Self, and get that fully centered and onboard as your true operating system. When you operate from your True Self there is never any doubt as to what you should be doing with your life, who you should be with, how you should be of service, or what your purpose in life is. When you operate from your True Self everything you encounter makes sense, the ups and downs of life and the smooth sailings, the periods of loneliness and the periods of togetherness, the periods of chaos and the periods of calm. When you operate fully from your True Self you are truly and fully in the flow of your life, and all makes sense. So don’t be afraid to pull back and away from the chaos, to find the calm you know exists within. It is there that you will find your True Self.

All our love,
The Soul Sisters, Jan & Jeanne
