After all the giving comes retreat, pulling inward, taking time for rejuvenation. After expansion naturally comes a time of retraction. It is only in taking care of the self properly that you will have energy to give again when the time comes. Constant giving with no self care leads to exhaustion and resentment. Keep your loving heart open, flowing and glowing, but turn inward to care of the self now. Do whatever is needed in whatever way is right for you. There are no rules except the natural rules of constant change and evolution. After a time of giving to others it’s time to give to the self. It’s only natural.

Let generosity become normal. Let your giving heart know fulfillment. Give generously, especially where generosity is least expected, to strangers, to those you do not know who could use it the most. Cultivate a new norm of generosity toward others, especially toward those you despise, fear, or hate. Give abundantly without attachment or need for acknowledgement. Just give because you can. A truly generous heart is a happy heart. Be abundantly generous and know generous abundance in return.

Giving Day, a day of giving, with thanks that you are alive to give to others in a meaningful way, that you are free and capable of feeling your heart centeredness, the place from where all true giving originates. Let your giving heart express how it wishes, with the kindness and graciousness that lie at its core, asking for nothing in return. That is being a true giver, and that is something to be thankful for, just being able to give. Happy Thanksgiving!

Know these things about your own soul as well as the souls of others. All souls have unique gifts, purposes, and intent. All souls come into life on earth challenged to accomplish a great feat. What is your soul’s great feat? Can you look at your life as your soul’s great feat and respond appropriately to its yearnings for accomplishment, abundance, and manifestation of all that it is capable of? You are your soul’s lifetime partner, the most significant relationship you and it will ever have. And that is where true love is to be found, within the circle of you and your soul!

Align with your heart, following the principles of loving kindness and compassion that it naturally turns to, for though a heart may also turn coldly away it does not lose these attributes for they lie at the core of the human soul. Though turned from for a long time, at some other time, perhaps in some other lifetime, they may reemerge as key players again. Enhance your own heart centeredness, but do not fault others for their lack of, nor try to impose your own. Simply live your days from a place of heart because you can.
