When setting New Year’s resolutions don’t forget that what you consider to be your negative traits are as necessary and meaningful as what you consider to be your positive traits. What you consider negative about yourself may be having a positive effect on you. It all depends on how you look at it. For often a negative aspect of self is telling you exactly what you need to do in order to change, and that’s positive! The best method of setting intentions for change is to firmly and loudly declare them to yourself and to the universe. Simultaneously anchor them deeply and firmly within yourself and send them out into the capable hands of energetic intent, the same energetic intent that surrounds and supports all of life. Let them go. Without perseveration or self-deprecation let them become energy that returns to you in positive ways. For they will manifest if they are indeed truly desired and truly right for you at this time in your life. Intent!
