A wise heart is full of light and yet it is able to embrace the dark, for it knows that there cannot be one without the other, that both light and dark exist, and so a wise heart loves all that is, a little light and a little dark being the key to keeping in balance, for without the other the one will dominate and nothing is worse than too much light or too much dark. Just as there can be too much of a bad thing so can there be too much of a good thing. That is the truth that a wise heart accepts and adjusts to every day, for just as the light comes naturally so does the dark. A wise heart gives both the light and the dark equal value and equal space.
