Soulbyte for Tuesday July 18, 2017

Don’t attempt to overpower nature. Let nature take its natural course. Remember that even in the midst of a storm there are moments of calm; the eye of the hurricane, the time between wind blasts, the pause between lightning strikes. There is always an opportunity to reestablish stability and gain balance. Maintain your flexibility as you learn to ride the rough times that naturally occur, for you are no more than a storm yourself, capable of test and turmoil, a powerful force of nature. You are your own boat and you are the rocky seas, you are the wind and you are the waves, you are the sun bringing the end of the storm and the calm air too that signals that it’s over. Be grateful for all that life brings and all that you are, the calm eye and the wild storm too, powerful energy indeed! Use it wisely.

Soulbyte for Monday July 17, 2017

Do you really need so much? Keep yourself modest all of your days and discover what really matters. Matters of the heart, matters of the body, matters of the mind are perhaps more important than matters of desire or greed. In modesty find balance, in excess none at all. In modesty find your feet on the ground and take a breath of fresh air knowing that what you seek is within you, not far nor impossible to achieve but right there ready to greet you. In modesty know yourself and others as beings of the Great Mother and find all that you need at your fingertips. In modesty work hard, live fully, and learn as much as you can so that you may take your place upon that Great Earth aware of who you are and conscious of all that is offered. In modesty live a good and fulfilling life, fully aware that modesty offers quite a lot indeed!

Soulbyte for Friday July 14, 2017

Learn to move on, living life to the fullest with no regrets, resentments or grudges, for it does you no good to harbor ill will, bad feelings, or negative attitudes. Such arbitrary energies keep you captive, a prisoner of your own ideas and ideals, blocking you from fuller experiences of life on earth. Instead, shed your supposed obligations to a self who does not deserve too much attention, the hurt self, the offended self, the self who thinks it deserves better. In truth, you are a being who is going to die, and until you realize that you may not appreciate who you really are, what you have, nor where you are in life. Until you accept your fate (and it is the same for everyone) you may not accept your life. But once you do, love it all, with no regrets, ’cause it’s all you got! If you can live your life in that manner it will be a good life indeed!

Soulbyte for Thursday July 13, 2017

Find your way to inner peace and calm no matter what is going on outside of you. It’s the only way to stay stable and sane. It’s not selfish but necessary in times of turmoil. And yet, do not be so inward turned as to miss the important things in life, especially the call to make changes that are beneficial, to move on when necessary, and to grow beyond where you are now. For even in inward turning, changes are expected if the inner process is to have impact. Otherwise it’s just another cover for not doing what needs to be done, for not facing what must be faced, and that will benefit no one. The charge of life is always to grow and change. It’s what the world is doing all the time, especially in times of turmoil, pushing for change. Let the self be still but never asleep. Let the self be calm but never inert. Let the self be inward turned but stay alert and aware, and never stop growing. For growth is the creative urge in all of life and that’s exactly what’s called for now!
