Chuck’s Place: Intensity Is The Key To Manifestation

When all else fails, hone your superpower & stay grounded too…

In a dream, I arrive at a conference site early in the day. I’m allowed to check into my room, one of many cottage-like structures scattered about the grounds. I go into my room to discover a man taking a shower. The room had not been vacated.

This room disruption became the theme of the dream, as my room number changed constantly, even while I was asleep in it. All orienting signs became meaningless.

When the rules that govern our familiar reality are interrupted we arrive at the gate of new manifestation. The first challenge in this dream is to not be offended by its unfairness. No point in an irate call to the desk clerk. Such an intense act would simply manifest and reinforce a typical drama around self-importance and entitlement.

If we cling to the rules that govern our consensus reality we miss the fine print of that contract, which states, “All rules were made to be broken.” Don Juan Matus stressed that he refused to uphold rules that he had not personally agreed upon. Despite appearances, reality is relative. Consciously, or unconsciously, we are the creators of our own reality.

The more appropriate reaction, in this dream, is to say to self, “Chuck, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” This is the attitude that invites the intensity of awe, which in turn potentiates the magic, the freedom to manifest one’s own creative intent.

The subconscious mind is the power plant of manifestation, but realize, it is quite neutral as to the outcome of its physical creation. It responds to intensity rather than morality. If one chooses the intensity of anger, it will attract a reality befitting that emotion. If the mood is more hopeless, it will cast defeat upon all that one sees. If fear is the main attraction, it will riddle the mind with horror stories and the body with anxiety.

If one is passionate about a belief, positive or negative, it is sure to activate the attractive power of the subconscious. The key is in the faith and passion one holds; the intensity of one’s belief. There is little intensity in idly wishing and hoping that someday something will happen.

Our consensus reality has largely maintained itself by a default agreement passively accepted through the influence of strong socialization. We have disowned and projected our innate magical beingness onto fairy tales, while we have hardened into solid reality.

The world events of our time, like the ruptures in my dream, are shattering this fixation, shredding the very fabric of our weathered consensus reality. The emotional intensities of left and right are generating fantastical realities that then clash into even greater  calamities.

As I said above, the subconscious responds to intensity of emotion and thought. It is the responsibility of human consciousness to exercise responsible choice. Current events are powerfully waking us up to assume responsibility for our own creative power and to use it wisely.

May we exercise our power like Jupiter in Libra. May the intensity of our awe expand, like Jupiter, into Libra, whose outstanding characteristic is one of balance. To expand without balance is delusion, yet even delusion, when embraced with intensity, can manifest.

An agreement that is inclusive of the true needs of all is the creative exercise of power we need. May it, with intensity, prevail.

With Intensity,
Chuck

Watch where you put your attention and what thoughts you generate, especially about yourself. What are you perpetuating simply by thinking it? Negative thoughts tend to have negative reactions and outcomes, while positive thoughts generate positive reactions and outcomes. Practice on yourself. Notice where you think negatively and how such negative thoughts generate exactly what you concentrate upon, in your body, for instance. A constant thought of pain will generate exactly that pain. Shifting thoughts away from pain, to perhaps happiness, notice how feelings of happiness arise. You generate what you think, so why not think differently and generate something new. Try it. As a personal experiment it’s quite enlightening!

Every day in every way things are better and better. When oft repeated, positive affirmations have a positive effect. Negative positions will remain negative unless ousted by positive positions. There is no time like the present to present a more positive front to the self and the world. With positive thoughts and positive words rolling off the tongue things can really start to shift. Perhaps things are going well but there is still something keeping you stuck. Begin to note what you say to yourself in your unconsciously spoken thoughts. Shift into a more positive frame of mind and see what happens.

It is often hard to accept that things have changed so drastically that there is no going back. In such cases there is only going forward, moving on into new life. When change comes learn to embrace it. Fighting it will only make your sense of time slow down and your sense of progress will stagnate. Keep things on an even keel by acknowledging the changes and fully embracing them for that they offer. There is always something good to be had in change, and there is always new life to come.

Chuck’s Place: Faith As Creator

Have faith in your suggestions…

Shamans call faith unbending intent. To have total belief, confidence and trust in one’s intent brings it to life. However, without faith, dreams are stillborn.

Christ stated that even he, a great healer, was unable to heal someone who lacked the faith that they could be healed. In this case, not believing it’s possible to be healed becomes one’s inevitable manifested intent.

At an elemental level, quantum physics demonstrates the role of human thought upon physical manifestation. In the famous double-slit experiment, a light is shone through two openings. When unobserved the produced result is a wavelike pattern. Under human observation the same experiment creates a particle pattern. Human thought impacts matter.

Modern consciousness is burdened with a rational bias that dismisses outright a suggestion that does not conform to logic. Rather than adhere to a more scientific stance that holds that anything is possible, until proven otherwise, the tendency is to attach to a blocking belief and dismiss further consideration or experimentation with a possibility deemed to be not rationally possible.

The well-worn adviso, don’t attach to the outcome, or the shamanic dictum, suspend judgment, frees the energy of creation and allows it to run its intended course unimpeded by constricting beliefs. Though we can imagine our intent, and call it forth with words, we need to completely surrender to an aloof, detached tracking of the course that creation will take, accepting the time it will take to manifest.

Our intent is like karma; once established it must be realized. Suppressed intent eventually surfaces. The world is currently grappling with political leaders, attitudes, and issues dating back to WWII. The collective unconscious demands new resolution of perennial conflicts that interfere with achieving a sustainable peace. The world’s collective consciousness must refine its conflicting intent and have total faith in the possibility of peace.

At an individual level, we may hold blocking beliefs in the habitual depths of our personal psyche. Spontaneous comments like: “I’m not worthy; that can’t happen for me,” or “That’s not possible,” might surface from one’s internal dialogue.

Don’t fight with such thoughts. Fighting is attaching, a reinforcer of blocking belief. Alternatively, use the intrusive thought as a trigger to remind oneself that anything is possible, and then restate your intent.

Intent, like hypnotic suggestion is a direct appeal to the subconscious mind, the true mother of creation. Realize, however, that all intent is not necessarily healthy intent nor in alignment with your soul’s true mission in this life. Negative intent, delivered with strong faith, may manifest just as often as positive suggestions. We all must deal with the karmic consequences of our choices and actions.

Doubt can be a blessing to consciousness. It can spur one to refine the appropriateness of one’s intent. The nagual, don Juan Matus, advised that one have a romance with knowledge, engaging thinking and doubt before forming an intent. However, once one has arrived at the appropriate intent, embrace that intent with total faith, with unrelenting, unbending intent.

Some intent may not be fully realized at the human life stage if the timing conflicts with our deepest soul’s intent. In this case, the fuller maturation and completion of the intent will be realized in a future form. Though destiny in human form is unavoidable, this does not void the fact that anything is possible, and that ultimately everything is possible.

Ancillary practices are part of unbending intent. An intent for healing, for instance, is best supported by healthful practices that reflect one’s absolute faith in their ability to fully heal. Attention to deep care and rejuvenation of the body embodies one’s intent to heal, with a powerful suggestion to the subconscious mind. Mental practices that tone the nerves, and transmit calm, deepen the conscious mind’s channel to the receptive subconscious mind.

Find your faith in possibility. And with focused, patient knowing, load your suggestion on the wings of intent. See what happens.

In good faith,
Chuck
