The objective of life is to discover why you are in the life you are in. Part of that discovery is to clearly understand that everything that has happened to you, thus far, has all been part of your journey to discovering your true self. What defines you shapes you, and what shapes you makes you, and what makes you reveals who you truly are. You are everything that you think you are, and more. You are your past but also your future. You are a conglomerate of many past lives and many future lives. Your present self is infinite. And that’s why you are so capable of discovering why you are in the life you are in, because your infinite self knows everything. You already know. The trick is to remember!
