A Day in a Life: What’s New is Old & What’s Old is New—Making it Relevant

When I first began channeling I could not for the life of me wrap my mind around the term. I just could not accept that channeling was what I was doing. It felt almost hokey, much too new agey for practical me. Instead, I preferred to say that I was connecting. Connecting became the term I used.

“I’m connecting with Jeanne,” I’d say. After a while I did accept the term channeling, since it seemed to explain to so many others just what it was that I was doing when I went into a deep meditative state and saw visions that somehow tumbled down on the page in front of me into words that made sense. I couldn’t really explain how that process happened, but as I went deeper into my personal history, recapitulating my past, I found that what I was doing was not all that unique. I learned that I was nothing special.

Now, as I face new steps in my personal story, I must also face what it is that I am supposed to do next with this most unspecial self.

Fearful, in the beginning, of attaching to the new age world, I have since understood its significance in our lifetime, but only as I have also understood the intent of the ancients, intentions set a long time ago. Once I understood that all knowledge is available to all of us, I was able to embrace the new age idea of channeling, finding it rooted deep within the shaman’s world.

As I did my recapitulation I found the answers to the questions I was asking about myself, seeking to know myself on the deepest levels. I wanted to find out as much about myself as I could, the answers to why I had the life I had, why I lived in the world I did, both my past and the world I live in every day. In the terminology and perspectives of the shaman’s world, and in the descriptions of experiences that mirrored my own to a tee, I found resonance. I also discovered that the shamans of ancient Mexico have a term for that new age phenomenon that we call channeling, that I had such a hard time embracing. They call it: reading infinity.

The practical me finds grounding in the shaman’s world, because I have learned that the shaman’s world is none other than this one. I don’t have to go anywhere else to have experiences that are meaningful. Everything I need is here. If I truly want to have shamanic journeys all I have to do is stay present in this life. There are plenty of experiences just waiting to take me journeying.

The so called new age phenomenon that has swept us off our feet for the past forty or so years is in fact also based in the world the shamans describe. New terms may have been applied, now commonly used, but in reality they are ancient practices that our modern world has eschewed in favor of modern science. The chemistry lab has replaced reality. Real experiences of body, mind, and spirit have been pushed aside; the ancient holistic approach to the human experience relegated to a few new agers. In fact, the intent of the ancients courses through all of us. We are all ancients and we are all new agers, we are all holistic phenomena just bursting to live in this world, in our own times.

In a pamphlet that he distributed to the participants of the Westwood Tensegrity workshop in 1996, Carlos Castaneda wrote the following:

Silent Knowledge was an entire facet of the lives and activities of the shamans or sorcerers who lived in Mexico in ancient times. According to don Juan Matus, the sorcerer-teacher who introduced me to the cognitive world of those sorcerers, silent knowledge was the most coveted end result they sought through every one of their actions and thoughts.”

“Don Juan defined silent knowledge as a state of human awareness in which everything pertinent to man is instantly revealed, not to the mind or the intellect, but to the entire being. He explained that there was a band of energy in the universe which sorcerers call the band of man, and that such a band was present in man. …Silent knowledge, don Juan explained, is the interplay of energy within that band, an interplay which is instantly revealed to the shaman who has attained inner silence. Don Juan said that the average man has inklings of this energetic play. Man intuits it, and gets busy deducing its workings, figuring out its permutations. A sorcerer, on the other hand, gets a blast of the totality of this interplay at any time that the rendition of this interplay is solicited.”

“…In his effort to clarify his point further, don Juan gave me a series of concrete examples of silent knowledge. The one I have liked the most, because of its scope and applicability, is something that he called readers of infinity.”

Carlos goes on to describe how the readers of infinity viewed energy, as if they were watching a movie. This ability to shift into viewing energy as it flowed in the universe, without attaching to the permutations of the mind, allowed them to access a far greater intent: all knowledge, just waiting for all of us to leave the busy workings of our minds so we too can access it. Here is how Carlos described this ability to read energy:

“Don Juan made it very clear to me that to be a reader of infinity doesn’t mean that one reads energy as if one were reading a newspaper, but that words become clearly formulated as one reads them, as if one word leads into another, forming whole concepts that are revealed and then vanish. The art of sorcerers is to have the prowess to gather and preserve them before they enter into oblivion by being replaced with the new words, the new concepts of a never-ending stream of graphic consciousness.”

“Don Juan further explained that the shamans who lived in Mexico in ancient times, and who established his lineage, were capable of reaching silent knowledge after entering its matrix: inner silence. He said that inner silence was an accomplishment of such tremendous importance for them that they set it up as the essential condition of shamanism.”

Honing intent... grounded in this world

Personally, I find these descriptions fascinating. Channeling is indeed reading infinity as described by don Juan. The words appear and if one does not capture them in some way they are gone, the next ones taking their place. Access to inner silence, I can attest, is achievable through our life experiences, through blunt trauma, as well as in the inklings of reading energy that we all experience at various times throughout life. The challenge is to allow ourselves to go without fear and without judgment, by simply taking the journey as it is presented to us.

Can we hone our sorcery skills in order to be able to reach inner silence? Yes, we all can, as I did during my recapitulation. But the real challenge is, can we achieve these abilities while remaining firmly grounded in this world, staying in our everyday reality? Yes, that too is not only possible but essential.

We live in this world and we must stay in this world, have our experiences and make them relevant in our personal lives and for our times. We must not only learn to read infinity, but we must root our learning in our world so that a better balance of old age and new age may be achieved. We must help our world evolve into a holistic world once again, where the old-new phenomena are not only accessible but made meaningful and important to our times and our evolution. We must not dismiss what we don’t understand as hokey, as I once dismissed channeling, too afraid to face what it might mean about me personally.

It’s through deep inner work that we learn how to access infinity volitionally. But it’s also through deep inner work that we may lose our fears and attachments to the personal, to our self-importance, and learn that we are nothing special. Discovering that is discovering the root of the ancient sorcerer’s intent. When we get to that place, we can then turn our attentions to working on our greater personal intent for this lifetime, whatever that may be.

I am nothing special.

#766 Body Language

Written by Jan Ketchel with a channeled message from Jeanne Ketchel.

I ask Jeanne for guidance on this day, the birthday of America. Here is what she advises us:

It is time now to pay attention to the signs coming from the body self, for as much as you all look for signs of spirit and pay attention to that which comes from outside to guide you, your body is really your most important guide. Once you begin to pay more attention to it you will know this.

You may think you are already quite body oriented, but most of you have taken on the doctrines and rhetoric of others and, wise and truthful though they may be, only your own body knows what is best for it.

Turn from your outer knowing now and tune into your inner knowing. Simplify your body’s needs. Pare down what you put into it and discover in so doing just how little food it really needs to survive, how little beverage and sweets it really wants, for it runs better than any manmade machine on less fuel. On this most American day, when focus is outside of the self, I ask that you do a most un-American thing and go innerly, to quietude, rather than be the extraverted type today.

It is a time of abundance yet is that abundance of inner grace and calm if you look for its silent music within. Outer abundance may now rest and this will be good for all mankind, and the world at large, if this inner awareness is paid attention to.

Happy Spirit Tree! Notice her body language? See how she throws her arms up in openness to life!

The body self, which is the focus of this message today, needs and craves inner quiet, peace, and calm. It will speak volumes to you if you let it, but I realize this may be a scary prospect for many, for in so doing the body will confront you with its truths. These may range from long held secrets and mysteries to certain ideas and thoughts, to the truths of the spirit self that are quite fantastic and unbelievable when first encountered. But I ask that you suspend your judgments, your self-criticisms, your set ideas and self-imposed limitations, and listen without fear or despair to your body self. Allow it to be your guide a little more each day.

In allowing this process of body language, you will invariably discover that you will need very little else to guide you as you make your way through life. Your body is your world, containing all that sustains and creates life, and when in balance its qualities of healing and spirit contact are unparalleled. Your personal channels of communication within and without will be open and ready for daily use as you hone their qualities and recognize their features.

You are all abundant beings. Allow yourselves to accept your abilities. You are all special in this regard, as this woman who channels me, yet is she nothing special, as she well knows. She continues to confront her issues and hone her skills just as she wishes all to do. In acceptance of the abilities available to all, she knows the possibilities are endless. But, first and foremost, she knows that one must lose the ego’s trappings, which include fears and inflations, personal attachments and desires, as well as self-judgments and self-criticisms. She knows that one must be daring to not hold back the spirit self that is trapped within the body self, asking for permission to do what it is so capable of doing.

Can you accept the truth of the body self, that it is your vehicle to everything you wish for in life? Can you release yourself from all that holds you back in life, all the fears that limit your access to your true abilities? These are the questions that one must continually ask the self if one is to evolve.

Remember: You are your body. Your body is your natural world. It asks you to pay attention to it every day. It speaks volumes. Can you hear it?

Thank you Jeanne! I leave my body when I channel her. It sits quietly and calmly, waiting for me to return my awareness to it. I am grateful for this process and thankful that I have indeed dared myself to change, to pay attention to what was going on in my inner world, my body self. Every day I see myself and the world in a far different way than I once did. I am thankful to Jeanne for all of her guidance over the past ten years. Her sound advice and gentle prodding have allowed me to change and live in a new world of greater awareness. I am thankful that I can give these messages to you each week. Thank you for being there to receive them!
Love,
Jan

A Day in a Life: The Times They are A-Changin’

Dear Readers and Fellow Journeyers,

It feels only right, in light of the situation that continues to unfold in Japan, that we continue reflecting and searching for meaning regarding the natural events that have rocked the world over the past week. I just cannot return to the personal or domestic at this point, it just feels wrong, the energy needed instead for the bigger picture of what is happening on the other side of the world, affecting us all.

I may be psychic, an open channel, but Chuck is the real visionary. He has the gift of far-sighted intuition that often astounds me. When he says we should do something or prepare for something I take note, because he’s mostly right. I would like to say that he’s always right, but that feels too burdensome a pronouncement to put on anyone. But to prove the point, he has been saying, for many years, that things would come to a head, that what we do politically, environmentally, energetically, and personally make a world of difference and that our dependence on the world’s natural resources would backfire on us, our technological age would become the end of the world as we know it. He never says this in a negative light, but always as a positive and much needed shift, in a shamanic sense, which is that we are setting ourselves up for just the right shift to a new awareness.

You may say, yeah, well a lot of people say that, but not in the way that Chuck says it. He knows something else, the bigger picture always before him, while I tend to focus on the details of the moment. I feel lucky that I too have access to that bigger picture in my channeling with Jeanne, she too offering far-sighted and far-reaching insight in alignment with some of the astounding proclamations that I hear coming from Chuck. The two of them still work in synchronistic ways and if you know them now or knew them as a couple in this world you are not surprised.

When we first began publicly sending out the messages from Jeanne in 2006, first via email and then later on the website, there were still several journals of unpublished material. The content of some of those early messages has stayed with us, warnings of changes in the world, largely based on man’s disregard for nature and his tendency to greed and overconsumption. Today, I post one of those early messages because it is so pertinent to what is happening in Japan at this very moment, a warning almost of this happening. Jeanne says that even our generation, her generation, will feel the impact of change and indeed she is right. The message is long, but I encourage you to read on:

Here is the message, channeled on September 13, 2006, that we find so important to publish now, in light of the continually unfolding situation in Japan.

As usual, I connected to her via a question: Dear Jeanne, Do you have messages for us today?

This is her response:

Contemplate the vicissitudes of the nation. Mark your calendars and circulate the unwanted news that I profess to have access to. The times they are a-changin’! Do not retreat from this job I give you. Do not fail in our intent, which is to bring to all who are ready, the first signs of truth regarding the ways of the government of America and the natural consequences of untapped greed.

Mother Nature revolts. This will happen before, after, and during any other manmade revolts. This will be the ultimate factor, the deciding factor in any other action taken. Mother Nature will wage the war that will end all wars and turn the world into a quieter, calmer place, because there will be no energy or ego enough to continue battling with others. There will be a time of destruction, partly man’s fault, partly instigated by the reaction of the earth to that which man has promulgated upon her surface. This will lead to a calming down of all tensions upon that earth and a forced new world will be in order.

There will be no reason for man to have the power he now affords and awards himself. His state now is of possessive greed and this is an overtaking action, a self-professed assigning of elite power that will bring him down, in the end, to his knees. No man is born to take such a role. That role has been engineered and constructed by man’s tremendous ego, unleashed, uncontrolled, and unable to maintain balance. This ego, grown large and out of shape, no longer holds compassion, kindness, or love at its core, but has pushed aside those basic human attributes and instead taken on the cloak of outrageous greed.

There is no dragging off of this cloak. There is only the dismantling that can happen through natural consequences. So powerful has man become in his own eyes, that he does not intend to allow another man to cut down his sturdy legs and, thus, his attitude perpetuates the intensity of war and greed.

The only thing capable of decapitating and dethroning man is his inherent Mother: the Earth, the Moon, the Stars, and the configurations of the heavens which house all stories, told and untold. Here lies all truth, waiting for the grand moment of coincident, when alignment will impact everything, as man now knows it.

It is not that far off. The many who prophesy and who believe that this is caused by a punitive god do not have all the facts straight. There is much that is involved, both on earth and in the heavens, where outer space is a vast other world, full of life, potential, and energy, constantly gathering to enact needed change.

The synchronistic placement of many things, in order for a great change to take place, is paramount. This cannot be wished for, nor can it be exactly predicted by anyone on earth, for there are many things involved that man alone cannot bear to bring together, either in his mind nor does he dare to impose it upon the decent people of the earth.

What things? I asked.

There are rumblings deep inside the earth, affected not only by their own environment but also by the pulls outside the atmosphere. There are great shifts taking place inside, while outside the magnetic fields are drawing together in a focused alignment that will pull up from inside the earth the energy that has been waiting a long time to be unleashed.

There are gravitational pulls, magnetic and otherwise, that affect all of this, both between planets and between all that exists on earth. There is constant tension and if this tension is disturbed or thrown off balance then there is reason for disaster. During earthquakes there is this confrontation, this tension between the inner earth and the outer space atmosphere where some of the heaviest pulls exist.

This sort of tug-of-war goes on continually, causing flooding and shifting of the waters upon the earth, as well as in the geothermal aspects of the earth’s interior. This man cannot correct or predict, if he does not begin to understand energy outside of object. As long as man continues to think that energy can only be created by an object, he will not be able to fathom how such large and devastating disasters may happen.

There exist vast pools of energy, not at all attached to objects, though at one time it was. Energy does not die, but continues to live and to travel, to be a part of the “forces of nature,” as it is generally called. The forces of nature are however, simply direct spirit energies on a mission, forcibly enacting change with the help of gravitational and other magnetic energies not yet fathomed by man.

[I believe, in that last paragraph, that Jeanne is speaking about evolving human energy, once in the physical, object world, now in infinity, continuing to evolve and impact us here on earth, as she herself does, especially through these channelings.]

There are scientists who have encountered energies and phenomena they cannot understand and often this has caused retreat, rather than further exploration. However, there are many who understand the vast connection between all that exists, beyond known study, and beyond accepted reason. There are the few daring ones who, if paid attention to, could offer incredible insight.

Our mission is part of this great energy that desires change and we are aligned in aligning and preparing those upon the earth who choose to engage us for knowledge of what is imminent.

How imminent? I asked.

Changes can occur at any time, even in your life times, this generation’s, even the one that I was of that grows old now, even that generation will witness incredible changes on the earth’s surface and in the people who inhabit it. It will not be long before it seems that destruction is everywhere, as bits of earth disappear into the sea. And the population will readjust, and a better balance will be created in order for the plentifulness of the earth to be available, according to the original plan, nature providing all.

Until these times of hardship arrive, ready yourself with simplicity. Ready your children to lead lives of compassion and world interest, rather than fear and self-interest. Prepare for changes, but stay balanced and steady and one with the earth and you will have less of a problem adjusting to a new world.

The great electronic revolution interferes with the energy between magnetic poles, slicing through the direct lines of energy that are necessary aspects of life on earth. This has impact on people, directly, though it is not a physical impact, it is an energetic impact, causing disruption and heightened activity that does not allow for the usual connection that leads to calm.

Heightened energy is debilitating and causes many problems, both in an individual and in societies where, if allowed to progress, will create mini-catastrophes merely because of clashes that are better left avoided, but have become unavoidable.

Even as sound reverberates, so does the energy coming from each person on earth reverberate. As the energy of people continues to be disrupted it, in turn, becomes disruptive. With enough of this heightened and drastically off-kilter energy bumping into similar energy there is the tension of sparking to occur. When this happens, whether on a person-to-person level or an energetic level outside the earth’s atmosphere, there is change enacted elsewhere by the simple fact of reverberation.

Clashes are not accidental. There are no accidents. The way things are now going upon the earth are not accidents—this is certain. All is connected. Keep this in mind. What happens one place affects what happens in another place. Everything affects everything else.

Do you have any other messages for today? I asked.

That’s enough. I sense your need to stop. So be it, we will continue tomorrow, but watch my words, as they have great meaning. You are not a scientist, Jan, and this is far beyond your normal activity with me. I know you prefer messages that you can fathom, but I also know I can challenge you and that you will translate my meaning well. We can continue to explain all of this at another time.

My main message of today is to exhibit how all energies effect everything, both that which is directly in its path— resulting in clashes occurring—as well as all other energy in the world, even energy existing independent of objects, as in infinity.

There does not need to be an energy source defined, as such, because energy exists because it is endless, never began, never ends, it simply is.

Remember this as you go about your day, as you meet and encounter the variety of energies that exist on earth’s plane and as you feel and intuit energy all around you. It can be pretty thrilling to understand this and to feel it in your own life.

—End of Channeled Message—

Okay, so if you’ve gotten this far you can see why we felt it was pertinent and important to put this previously unpublished message out at this time. I hope it gives something else to focus on, to help shift away from fear and worry, but also to bring focus on the truth of our times, that they are indeed challenging us to not turn away, to not avoid or pretend that we are not affected by what is happening in Japan, because we are all affected by it, whether we choose to accept that notion or not. Indeed, the times they are a-changin’ as Bob Dylan, that other prophet, that other visionary like Chuck, once wrote. Such visionaries go quietly about their work, but now is really the time to pay attention to what they have been saying all along, because now is the time of real change for us all. There is no stopping it, as Chuck says.

Thanks for listening to us. May you all take the meaning of these messages into your hearts and find the personal meaning in all of this doom and gloom, finding how you can change your own world so you can make a difference to the greater world. We are all being asked to sacrifice something now, to simplify, to return to nature. Mother Earth asks this of us.

#650 Chuck’s Place: The Wise Ancestral Self

Welcome to Chuck’s Place, where Chuck Ketchel expresses his thoughts, insights, and experiences! Many of the shamanic and psychological terms used in Chuck’s essays are defined in Tools & Definitions on our Psychotherapy website.

We are born into this world with bodies fully formed and constructed via ancient programs of evolutionary successes and, yet, our minds begin as blank slates, orphans of our ancestral parentage. What an apparent contradiction! This is the dominant scientific perspective and, in fact, the experience of most people with the birth of consciousness, or the ego, in early childhood.

This birth of awareness, of “I,” a separate self, is at once exciting and overwhelming. Excitement comes from discovering the freedom and power of autonomy and choice. Fear springs from the awareness that our newly discovered “I” is small and inadequate, hardly capable of caring for itself in a powerful world it neither understands nor can control.

This birth of consciousness is the moment of eating the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden. The punishment for awareness of a separate self is banishment from the garden, and the charge to the ego, that separate self, is to “go it alone,” despite its inadequacy and lack of preparation. Our banishment, the birth of the ego, is our separation from our wise ancestral self. We become a blank slate, seeking, with desperate extraverted eyes, to fill our egos with knowledge, gained from trial and error or formal education, to be capable of occupying a space in this world, with some sense of legitimacy, orphans that we are. This is the plight of the ego, alienated from its wise ancestral self.

We spend the better part of the first half of life struggling to find our place in this world. We seek to discover our talents, our callings, where we belong. We burn through many false starts, trial and error careers and marriages, all the while accumulating more knowledge and clarity of who we “really are.” Regardless of our successes and failures in life, at the deepest level, we remain orphans, at best very adequate, well adapted, successful orphans, but, underneath, aware of a void. For some, this void is a deep sense of inadequacy, while for others it presents as a deep spiritual longing. Jung would identify it as the challenge of individuation, where the ego accepts its rightful but relative place as part of the all-encompassing wise ancestral self.. That wise ancestral self is present and functioning throughout our lives, it is our true guardian angel.

For example, years ago, as I stood alone on a beach in Jamaica, forcibly loading my spear gun, I inadvertently stabbed the back of the spear deep into my palm. (I wrote about this experience in The Book of Us, but I am presenting a different perspective on it this time around.) At that moment, I fainted; my ego vanished. It was overwhelmed; it knew not what to do. When my ego woke up, I returned to consciousness: I was sitting on the beach with my palm packed in a lump of wet sand. The bleeding had been fully contained and coagulated; the wound was completely sterile and healing. Who did that? Who knew exactly what to do without any intervention of consciousness? No one else was on the beach, and my ego was fully asleep.

In another example, years after that, I was driving alone very late at night northbound on the Taconic State Parkway. I fell completely asleep. When I woke up I was driving, properly, in the southbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway! Mind you, I was not drunk, in some kind of blackout state. I’d simply fallen completely asleep. Who took over the wheel and had the sense of humor to make me grapple with the fact that I had somehow successfully made a U-turn while my ego was asleep!

These are dramatic examples that, for me, illustrate the background activity of the wise ancestral self that operates on our behalf, fully independent of our ego awareness. Yes, we think we are orphans but, the truth is, our wise ancestral self is always participating in our lives. The real issue is whether the ego is in alignment with this wise ancestral self or completely at odds with it. Psychological symptoms, such as compulsions or compulsive projections, as well as physical illnesses often reflect interventions by our wise ancestral self to influence the decisions and actions of our alienated egos. I give the following hypothetical example, using a sexual compulsion. This is not a judgment about the type of sexual play enacted in S & M play. I assume here that my hypothetical client is disturbed by their compulsion. For example, this client might be an executive with an extremely powerful, dominant personality in the world, with a lot of control over others but possessed by a strong masochistic sexual compulsion. In this case, the wise ancestral self saddles them with a compulsion that attempts to deflate a power-hungry ego by compelling it to walk around on all fours with a collar around its neck, obeying the commands of a dominatrix. If this individual can rein in its alienated inflated ego and become humble, by assuming its rightful but modest place as part of a greater whole within the psyche, then the wise ancestral self could lift the compulsion and allow balance to be restored.

The introvert has the advantage of direct contact with the wise ancestral self because the primary focus is the inner subjective experience whereas the extravert focuses outside the self, giving primacy to the object. The introvert has direct access to the thoughts and feelings of the wise ancestral self who communicates in both images and words. The artist frequently receives the images and expresses them on a canvas or in other form. For those inclined to words, there is verbal communication with various parts of the wise ancestral self. Jung called this active imagination, where the ego volitionally communicates with the greater psyche to better understand its message or point of view. Channeling, at a certain level, is written or verbal contact with parts of the individual psyche or wise ancestral psyche, what Jung called the collective unconscious. At the deepest level, channeling is communication beyond the psyche and the confines of this world.

Dreaming is a daily dance with the greater psyche. Every time we write down a dream and feel and contemplate the characters and the situations in our dreams we are connecting with and seeking greater alignment with our deeper wise ancestral self. When I write down a dream, I structure it like a poem. For example, recently, I had the following dream:

My younger son was about nine years old, and was a DJ.
His dilemma was, how to get rides to his jobs.
I offered to take him to a particular job.
It turned out that he was the DJ for his own birthday party.
I was surprised. I didn’t know about the party.
He told me he had invited Efren, my old therapist.
I thought, “Why would Efren come?”
He didn’t know anyone.

When I first wrote the dream, I was struck by the image of my son spinning 45’s, as well as the interest of my old therapist in attending his birthday party. That was the extent of my dance with my dream. I returned later, continuing to visualize the spinning record. The word circumambulation came into my mind and I researched its meaning. Jung identified the circular process of attempting to find one’s way to the self as an individuation motif, the process of walking a labyrinth; the ego’s circuitous attempts through life to find its way back to the center, to the garden, to the wise ancestral self. As I visualized the needle on the record, going round and round, making its way toward the center, I recognized that my wise ancestral self was pointing me to embrace the innocence symbolized by my young son. This was further highlighted by my old therapist’s interest in going to the party. He had once been the projection of my wise ancestral self by my younger self, then in therapy with him. This continued dance with my dream shifted both my mood and awareness and directly impacted decisions that I made that day.

The challenge for introverts is to value their inner experiences in a world currently dominated by an extraverted prejudice. The challenge for extraverts is to recognize that the outer world becomes the palette for the deeper psyche to guide and alter judgments and actions. Owning projections for the extravert is an important means to dance with the inner images and align with the intent of the wise ancestral self.

In truth, there is no contradiction between psyche and body when we are born into this world, both are connected to their ancestral roots. It remains for the blank slate ego to rediscover its wise ancestral self. For the introvert, this is most accessible within; for the extravert without, via projection, but no one is a pure introvert or extravert. With a little effort, extraverts can dance with their dreams and introverts recognize their projections.
