As a new day arrives greet it warmly, happily stating that this is the day when everything changes. This is the day you have longed for! It has finally arrived! Yay! Keep focused on the certainty of your intentions. Stay open hearted and positive, and dream your dream forward.
Every day is an opportunity to shift your perspective, to allow yourself to let in some new information, some new thoughts, some new creative energy. To shift is simply a matter of saying something new and encouraging to yourself, for instance. Perhaps you notice that you most often think negatively about yourself and your life. Why not insert some positive affirmations into your thoughts, change what you say to yourself so that you only hear that which is helpful, positive and endearing. Why not give it a try today. And when the old negative words pop up, as they surely will, gently push them away with a few positive thoughts. Keep doing this and before long you will notice that most of your old negative thoughts are gone and the new positive ones have taken their place. Isn’t that wonderful!
Let yourself off the hook a little more often. You are not as bad as you think you are. A little self-knowledge goes a long way as does a little self-compassion. One way to gain a little more self-knowledge is through experience, and by that we mean not just having experiences for the sake of doing things but having experiences with the goal of learning something from them. When you have an experience, and it can be any kind of experience, you are naturally going to feel something, gain something that might be of benefit to you, whether it be that you don’t want to have such an experience ever again or that indeed it was something that you enjoyed. What are you learning about yourself as you experience life and dare yourself to try new things? What more can you say about your experiences? Can you go deeper in finding out what they actually mean to you? Are you satisfied with yourself? Disappointed in yourself? Bored with yourself? Examine your feelings to the fullest, and then decide if you have gained in self-knowledge. If not, then perhaps it’s time to have a different experience.
Long-ago wisdom may come to help in unknown ways as things change. Turn inward and listen to the wisdom of your own heart, which is connected to the wisdom of the ages. It has limitless resources of healing, hope and action. It merely needs awakening, stirring out of long sleep to be brought back into alignment with the wisdom of the infinite. Practice your own heart centering today, gently concentrating your attention on waking it up to feeling again so that you may be part of the healing solution in a more intense and hopeful way. Pray for peace as you stir your heart to new connections that go deeper than ever before. And as you tap into infinite love and wisdom, give thanks for all that you receive.
Keep a quiet heart, solidly focused on what is right for all. When the heart has a challenge, it can always find a way that is positive and helpful.
