A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.

Our Daily Soulbytes are channeled messages posted early in the morning. They are meant as support and helpful guidance for navigating life’s many twists and turns. We encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.

As things continually ramp up in the world outside of you, reject the notion that you have to get upset too. Let your newfound heart-centered practice show you a different way, a way that is accepting and receptive to the ways of the world, just as you are learning to be accepting of and receptive to the unfolding of your own life. For it is in the receptiveness and the acceptance of life’s ups and downs that you are learning how to navigate, both within and without, to the best of your heart’s intent, and to the best of your honest self as well. The honest, heart-centered self is the self that knows that all things that come to pass must come to pass and that you will survive them all, for you are a magnificent being on a magnificent journey, today and every day.

Continue the practice as suggested over the past two days, the heart-centered breathing and heart-centered decision making, for it will begin to change your life. Little by little, and day by day, a heart-centered practice softens you, aligns you, opens you to that which is greater and that which is wiser. Soon you will be acting from your heart center without even noticing it. Your sense of self will shift into one of right action instantaneously; you won’t even have to second guess or question the rightness of your heart’s response to the issues that arise in life. Pretty soon you will begin to notice that you are more relaxed about things, easy going, able to go with the flow. Other people will also begin to notice change in you, this new you that you are cultivating for yourself, but also for the greater good of all. For, ultimately, that is the universal purpose of life, to be fully present for the greater good of all.

In concert with the practices and events of yesterday, begin this day with a few deep breaths as well. Let your breathing open your heart a little deeper and a little wider. Reflect back upon yesterday. How did the day go as you turned toward your heart for help and for answers? Do you feel your heart present now, ready for today as well? Are you ready to engage this beautiful aspect of your humanness, your heart-centered and loving self, in all you do? Remember, the heart knows only truth.

Begin the day by taking a few deep breaths, for there is no better way to get grounded, to open the airways and to invite the heart to be present throughout the day. Invite your heart-centered self to sit more firmly within you today. Allow that part of you to be more present in the ways that your thinking mind is usually present. When you have something to ponder, a decision to make, ask your heart to weigh in. Its response will be different from the logical, rational mind’s response. It may surprise you, if you are not usually heart-centered and heart-connected, to hear its wise answer. Give it more opportunities, as the day progresses, to be a greater part of everything you encounter today, people, situations, conflicts and anything else that might need a different perspective. For the perspective of the heart is deep and wise.

All our love,

Things change. People leave; new people arrive. Life unfolds and it seems that times of turmoil and sadness will never end. When you get into this kind of slump, turn to your inner practice. Sit quietly with your heart open, your breath calm. Put your thoughts aside and ask for the blessing of this peaceful moment to wash over you and abide with you for the rest of the day. No matter what you have on your agenda for the day you have the power to self-regulate and maintain calmness within. It’s only if you get attached to something outside of you that you will lose that special inner contact. Remain attached within, even as you encounter what brews without, and all will be well.

All our love,
The Soul Sisters, Jan & Jeanne
