Are you hard like a rock? Or are you soft like putty? Do you think you are something special? Or do you think you don’t matter at all? Well, the truth is that no matter what you think of yourself on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, in the deeper realms of your being where you hardly know yourself at all. Or perhaps you know that deeper inner self very well, but have been ignoring it. Let this deeper inner realm be your destination and your work now.

Find your place in the mystery of all that you are, centering in your true self. Find contentment there and mold from this center a new, truer you. Bring what is inside out into the open, determined that only the true self matters now. Let yourself be vulnerable, knowing that it’s okay to be that way, that the world seeks more people of your ilk, willing to be real. For truly that is all that matters! Begin anew. It’s always the right day for that!

The intent to change requires effort. Restraint, self-control, and patience are the means by which what is most desired is attained. Responsibility for the self must be grasped for no one else can restrain, control, or apply the needed patience to another. Change has to also be deeply desired and all efforts consciously applied if anything is to happen, but take that first step and the journey begins!

There is no absolutely correct way to live and yet there are some good ideas floating around. However, it is the Eternal Self who knows how it wants to live and that is by its own yearnings. Listen carefully and you too will know the yearnings of your Eternal Self. And then strive to meet this Eternal Self on as many levels as possible that all that is right may take root and grow within you. That is the correct way to live!
