Our Daily Soulbytes are messages channeled from the energy of each day, from the dreams of the night, and from what the universe declares to be most important in the moment. They are usually posted before 7 AM every weekday.
We hope these Soulbytes offer helpful guidance, but we also encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.
Giving Day, a day of giving, with thanks that you are alive to give to others in a meaningful way, that you are free and capable of feeling your heart centeredness, the place from where all true giving originates. Let your giving heart express how it wishes, with the kindness and graciousness that lie at its core, asking for nothing in return. Align with your heart, following the principles of loving kindness and compassion that it naturally turns to, for though a heart may also turn coldly away it does not lose these attributes for they lie at the core of the human soul. Though turned from for a long time, at some other time, perhaps in some other lifetime, they may reemerge as key players again. Enhance your own heart centeredness, but do not fault others for their lack of, nor try to impose your own. Simply live your days from a place of heart because you can.

Sometimes working too hard and too long at a problem only make it worse. Far better to step away, close the eyes and calm the mind. Often stepping away will result in the problem resolving itself in its own way, the only thing needed on your part the energy of good intentions. Sometimes in order to see something clearly it is better to view it from a great distance, breathing clear air for your body and soul, letting your heartfelt intentions travel the distance on the winds of time. Let your heart and soul be still, your mind calm, knowing that your heart’s power is love, and what is greater than that! And love lands where it is needed the most, even when you are not looking!

Let your heart be open to receive so that you may know the joy of its power of reception, so that you may know what it feels like to another being when you give and they receive. Learn to receive so that your giving may be truly heartfelt, for how can you truly expect another to receive what you give if you do not allow yourself to receive. Open your heart to receive graciously and then give graciously so that others may receive with an equally open heart. In this practice find the beauty and the power of your giving and receiving heart.
