No life’s path is ever perfectly straight, for to be in tao is to go with the flow, to be in tune, attuned, free to align with what is right in the moment. Some days are up, some days are down, as is natural. Some days are calm and some days are exciting. Some days are slow and meandering in their unwinding, while others go quickly and with great focus. Accept the tao of life, its natural unfolding, and go with the flow of what is, but remain always alert and aware, ready to shift at a moment’s notice, to take a new path, a new direction when it is right, for that too is being in tao.

Stay focused on your path of heart, upon your own feet, as they take one small step and then another. Stop to look around you, to notice the clouds in the air, the wind on your cheek, the sounds all around you. You are a part of it all, and each small step brings you closer to more fully understanding that it is the enjoyment of such small things that matter the most. One day, one small step after another has created a whole world, and it has created you as well, in this moment now, on this day, in this time, a simple warrior taking a most momentous journey, seeking your wholeness, your peace, and your most precious Self. Take another step toward all of that with love in your heart, more certain than ever that you are more than worth it!

It takes a long time to change, for real change is an evolutionary process. Have patience with yourself and the world around you as you enact change in your life, one incremental step at a time, knowing that each day change is in your power. It is your most solemn duty as a warrior. It is your most healing balm, your road to freedom. Enact change, one day and one step at a time, and with the patience of a warrior carry on, certain of your goal, for a warrior always keeps the goal clearly in mind, patiently.

In our audio channeled message today, we are encouraged to be open, in the flow of the river of life, actively calling to us what we want.

If we intentionally call for change, change will come. If we sit inertly, like a mountain or a rock, thinking we don’t have any power to change things, nothing will happen, or that which does come along will not be noticed because we are not in a receptive mode.

When there is a natural ending there may be sadness, perhaps regret, a sense of loss, but also awareness that all things change, that time passes, bringing with it the changes of natural evolution, and awareness that nothing ever stays the same. As a year soon comes to its natural end, let your heart look forward with joy for new opportunities, let your mind be still knowing there is a new chance to change the self at the deepest level, another leap forward into new life on the horizon. With calmness begin each day as if it were always the first new day of a new year, and in so doing be always in the energy of change, and in the potential of something awesome. You are certainly well worth it!
