There are so many stars in the sky, more stars than you can imagine, more stars than you could ever take in with a glance. Light upon the Earth blocks visibility. Even in the darkest areas on the planet, where billions of stars are visible, the human eye is incapable of seeing what is truly there. Allow your own eyes to take in as much of the wonders that abound on your planet as possible, knowing that there are even more that you cannot see. Keep in mind that this is the same as far as spiritual wonders are concerned as well, the unseen world that you sometimes encounter but then dismiss and doubt. There is so much more than meets the eye, so much more that is impossible to take in, but trust that it is there, and be assured that you will one day be ready to fathom it all.

It’s been a week! Give yourself a pat on the back for getting through it, for staying grounded and focused, for staying heart-centered and balanced, in spite of the whirlwinds of change all around you. The Earth itself has a lot to say, a lot to teach, and a lot to offer for the future. Stay always connected to the Earth, as the Mother, the Teacher, the Wise One. She always has something new to teach. Find your personal connection to her, your special place upon her where you can allow your warrior self to take a step back and relax, where your mind grows calm and your body feels alive and healthy. Find your secret spot. And remember, if you can’t always be there in person you can be there in your mind. Envision your secret spot so thoroughly that you are there at any moment of any day when you most need to be there. Your secret spot can be a real place or a totally imagined place of peace and beauty of your own construction. Use your creativity to mold this secret spot in your mind’s eye. It is your sanctuary in the midst of whirlwinds. It is your secret healing spot for you alone to retreat to when needed. It is your own heart-centered creation. Whether it exists in reality or has been created by your heart’s desire, it is yours.

As the world churns along, doing its daily task of keeping everything going in the direction that it has determined is the path to take now, you personally can step off that path and take your own individual path. A solo journeyer may find that their path is often lonely but it is also extremely satisfying and gratifying. There is no better journey than the journey into the self, the journey of self-exploration and the journey of creative expression that lies outside of the norm. Allow yourself to step off the mundane path of existence that everyone is on, often called the rat race, and take in the beauty that is right beside you but so hard to see and experience when you are running the race that society dictates as the one and only race to run. There are many other paths to take, and most of them do not involve running! Instead, you will be filled with a calm knowing and a certainty that there is so much more to life, and that you are capable of so much more too.

What has appeared in your life recently to guide you toward that journey of transformation? What, in this very moment, are you being asked to do? That is all you need to focus on right now. Decipher that and you are well on your way to your next big moment of realization.

Change happens in different ways for different people. Change is rarely linear, rarely predictable and rarely consistent. Most of the time change arcs and spurts, flips and flops, and rises and falls. But in the end, no matter how change comes into your life, give yourself permission to go with it. Let it lead you, guide you and show you the way to greater harmony and balance, to a new place of solitude and contemplation, to a new feeling of contentment. It may take a while to regain your balance after abrupt change, but know that things will equalize over time and that all will be well once again.
