As part of the world continues to show that it does not want to stop ramping up rage and discontent, another part of the world continues to show that peace is possible. To be in alignment with peace, within and without, is surely a worthwhile activity. The more people who are active in setting the goal of peace within, through practices such as heart-centered breathing, the more they engage peace in the world around them. When you are at peace within yourself, then everyone you come into contact with will be affected by that peace as well.

We suggest continued use of heart-centered opening so you can more often and more easily find your way to this place of calmness. With daily practice it will become your default mode of operation, just as it is ours. When you operate almost all the time from a place of calmness you begin to notice that things don’t bother you so much. You are less distracted by the news and more in tune with a gentler approach to life. You feel more loving, forgiving, and accepting of all that is. We highly suggest continued practice in this exercise.

We, on the other side of the veil, operate from the same heart-centered place that we suggest you operate from. When you do that, you are in alignment with us and we with you. To get to that wonderful place of calmness and peace is really quite simple. Turn your attention to your heart chakra. Hold it there as you slowly and methodically breathe into that area in the center of your chest, just a few inches below your clavicle. Relax. You will know you have the right spot because it will begin to signal to you, with little openings, vibrations, and even a light tap or two. It’s perfectly safe to do this. If you allow all of your concentration to be on connecting with this heart center, your busy mind will disappear and all of your thoughts as well. Keep the focus on that spot. The more you do it the easier it will get. Use of meditation music, directly into the ears, is also good! It helps block out the outside world, especially as you begin to explore this practice. Eventually you should be able to go to that spot easily and naturally, without issue. It just takes practice!
