A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.

Our Daily Soulbytes are messages channeled from the energy of each day, from the dreams of the night, and from what the universe declares to be most important in the moment. They are usually posted before 7 AM every weekday.

We hope these Soulbytes offer helpful guidance, but we also encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.

Defeat is only a condition of the mental plane. It sits and waits for an opening to attach. The spirit does not experience defeat. It resides at a higher plane, far above defeat and its roving companions.

The spirit experiences defeat only as a challenge, knowing that a new approach or a new tactic must be instituted. To say that one’s spirit is broken or one’s will is lost is not the doing of the spirit but only the doing of the mind and thus has the potential to be changed, shifted, renewed, for the spirit never dies, never fails, and is never defeated.

Mental thoughts are often dominant in daily living, but the dominance of the spirit must never be questioned. The truth is, it rules. So where does it go at times of defeat? It is only lost from sight by the fog of mental confusion of defeat. It resides high above the fray waiting to be called into action, waiting for the call to wash clear the fog and confusion of defeat with cooling rains of new life.

Restlessness is an indication that something is amiss. Within the human being and within Mother Earth restlessness indicates a desire for change. Core issues might arise and be expressed outwardly, yet their significance may be missed in the aftermath of restlessness as restlessness often causes outbursts, rash actions, and destruction. Take care when restlessness arises. Remain calm and centered. Find root cause. All will be well if restlessness is addressed as a separate being, as spirit seeking attention, showing the way to resolution. If restlessness is taken seriously, and a concerted effort made to address the signs of restlessness, spirit will find its balance once again and all will be well.

Soulbyte for Saturday April 25, 2015

To be humble is a satisfaction of the spirit within. In humbleness one does not attach to neediness or desire but lives in a state of calmness without need of the extremes. A humble being is right with the self and thus right with the world. There is little that is needed to sustain a humble being except the pleasure of being at one with nature and all that is.

Care of the soul goes hand in hand with care of the body. If the body is not in good shape there will not be enough energy to tend to the soul. Place the body in as high a position as the soul and tend to it with as much love and compassion as you give the soul and your search for knowledge and enlightenment will automatically expand. With body and soul on the same path the journey will be one of true heart, a natural balance of earthly delights and heavenly delights.

Soulbyte for Thursday April 23, 2015

A time of conflict is ultimately a time of resolution. A time of disturbance will eventually lead to a time of calmness. All things change and evolve. Even the staunchest opponent to change will eventually change as a time of life turns a corner into death, the biggest change of all. Yet how many people contemplate death?

Death is no more than a natural changing event, no different than one day’s folding into the next, one thought’s fleeting passing into another, one form’s merging into another. Just as everything changes so does the human spirit one day leave the human form and move on into another state.

In the meantime, there is much to do and learn, not the least of which is to activate the changing self. To become a changing being volitionally is an act of love and compassion, for in deciding to change the self, to grow and spiritually evolve, each individual changes more than the self—the whole world changes too!
