Our Messages from Jeanne category began as a platform to bring our channeled messages to a wider audience. The earliest messages were written missives, so if you go back in the files you will find hundreds of written messages. Later we went to an audio format so more recent messages are spoken. To search by theme or special interest, use the search button in the navigation bar. Our hopes are that all of the messages, no matter the format, offer helpful guidance in navigating the waters of life.

#521 An Anchoring Prayer of Openness

Jeanne Marie Ketchel
Channeled by Jan Ketchel

Dear Jeanne,
Chuck and I have been talking about a very noticeable shift that has taken place over the past week or two. You have, specifically, been mentioning this possibility lately in your messages, and Chuck addressed it in his blog last Saturday in his article regarding Shifting the Assemblage Point. Many people have been reporting to us this week that they are having noticeable experiences of shift, of finally connecting with their inner voice, of channeling other energies, of noticing themselves as energy, of seeing the world differently, and of observing other worlds; in essence, experiencing a shift in their assemblage point. Can you offer us some means of anchoring in this new place, this new slot of the assemblage point, as Chuck calls it, so that the connections forged remain firmly present, perhaps a mantra or a prayer?

My Dear Jan and Chuck, and My Dear Readers, this is indeed an anchoring time and my messages have been offering you the means of navigating through this time of shift so that you may attain this new sense of self in the world and, in awareness, maintain this awakening self. So, yes, an anchoring mantra or prayer is certainly appropriate, but first I would like to add that, although many people have forged their way through this time by trusting their intuition, there are many others who struggle, and I do not wish to by-pass their continuation of awakening.

The awakening process is constant, so do not feel bad if your own process is still in struggle mode, still unclear, or still powerfully present in your life in some other manner. No matter where you are in your life, in your recapitulation, in your attempts to jolt or shift your self, your process is unique. It is necessarily your very own process and it will unfold according to your specific needs, lessons, desires, and proffered method of accepting your journey. In essence, your time of clarity and shift will come when the time is right for you to experience it and when the world around you is ready to offer it to you, and accept if from you as well. You will know when you are ready because you will notice that something in your perception of your world will be different. You may be faced with doubt, a slight inclination to wonder if you are making things up, or even a lack of trust, but in the end your worlds, your inner and outer worlds in cahoots, will keep you newly aware of just enough to tease you into trusting the magic of your spiritual growth and connection.

I ask that you remain open and trusting of spirit and this is the same message I offer to those of you who have experienced a shift. Continue to trust your observations, your inner voice, your sense of connection to higher realms but, mostly, trust your self. It is your innocence that is awakening and if you can hold onto your true innocence, your belief in this aspect of self as guiding, so may you more fully anchor your self in your new place of awareness.

Awareness must be cultivated and this means remaining open and inviting of experiences, without interference from the old voices that will attempt to dissuade you from your newfound trust. Trust in self is your anchoring place. This is the slot, as Chuck calls it, that you are becoming aware of now, if a definite shift has occurred in your life. The slot of self-innocence and awareness is deeply steeped in learning what it means to trust. Your anchor next becomes openness. That may sound quite the opposite of an anchor, but to ground the self in trust requires allowing the self to remain open. If you simply accept that you have shifted and lock into a new aspect of self-perception, what good will that do you if you do not remain open to what comes next? To shift is not synonymous with settling in to a new complacency. Shift requires acceptance, yet it also requires continued openness. It requires you to allow the innocent spirit self to remain vibrantly alive and present in your daily life. It requires a new ability to constantly shift and accept new ideas, new experiences, and new opportunities for furthering your budding awareness. All of this requires the ability to remain open to whatever comes to guide you on your awakening journey.

Today, I offer you, my shifting ones and my struggling ones, this prayer of openness to the energies of life and awareness, so that you may continually grow, anchoring in your truth and in your innocent awareness of the self as an energy being of good and of desire for further growth.

I remain open to my innocence.

I remain open to my own spirit.

I remain open to my abilities to see, hear, and travel in the realms of light and love.

I am an energy being who is learning the ways of true energy, to constantly shift and grow.

I remain open to receiving the lessons I need.

I remain open to receiving the guidance I desire.

I remain open to the love I deserve.

I remain open to giving as much as I receive, for I am an energy being of giving and receiving energy, energy that is positive, growth-oriented, and universally connected to all things.

I am an energy being charged with connecting my own disparate parts, reigning in my scattered desires to the one true desire of my spirit, which is my evolutionary growth.

I trust my innocence.

I trust my journey.

I trust my inner guidance.

I trust my self.

Remain open, My Dear Ones. Your journeys are just beginning. I love you all!

#520 Be a Wise Warrior

Jeanne Marie Ketchel
Channeled by Jan Ketchel

Dear Jeanne,
What guidance do you have for us today? Teach us something.

As you make your way in that life, accepting your challenges, conflicts, confrontations, and also your moments of joy and happiness, progress and growth, remain attached to the inner self. This is what I teach you always: to remain aware of the inner self, no matter what appears to aid you in your outer world.

Your outer world is your playing field, offering you everything you need in its environment of assembled purpose and promise. However, your outer world will have little meaning if you do not keep it connected to your inner world. Without attention and attachment to your inner world, your outer world becomes but a drab and lonely place, full of sadness and despair, soon tiresome, heavy, and unyielding.

Without inner connection and outer balance, your worlds will dissolve as worlds of growth and appear as worlds of hardship and duty. Without inner connection, your light will extinguish. This may happen quite quickly, or it may take a long time to realize. Without light your existence will become but a mere automatic situation, your energy on robotic mode, set to continue until drained, without recharging.

Your energy, upon contemplation of its demise in such a manner, will react in tiredness, in exhaustion, in reluctance, and in negligent behavior, dissipating to a mere struggle to go about your day. Without renewal of inner energy your outer life will dwindle to boredom and mundanity. This is certain. Though you may constantly find outer attention, stimulation, and places of interest and intrigue, your inner energy self, seeking to evolve, will remain in deep slumber, a mere hint of untapped potential.

I speak so often of maintaining balance of inner and outer self, for only in truly accepting your place and your journey in that world, while simultaneously asking your inner spirit self to wake up and take on the challenges being presented, will you evolve in your awareness and in your potential to move beyond that realm. Your goal must always be to:

1. maintain awareness;

2. gain access to your fount of inner energy;

3. learn to know it fully; to recognize it; to accept it;

4. and understand how it is available for your personal journey, as you learn to trust and follow the signs in your outer world.

Many of you seek guidance outside of you, and this is good. Until you find that which truly resonates within, you must explore. Exploration is excellent, but it must not become your sole purpose in life. Eventually, you must recognize and accept what your inner self is saying to you. You must stop and rest a while, taking a look at all that you have accumulated and attached to, deciding to simplify, and utilize only that which is most meaningful and has aided you most certainly. Your explorations do not stop at this point, but you will discover that the inner you will now lead you on your explorations in your outer world, showing you where to go next and pointing out what is meaningfully present in your life. To reach this point of trust is essential, and it is also pivotal.

Once you reach this point of being open and aware of your inner self, of its sure and sensible voice, then your journey will turn and take a new direction. New instructions for life and how to face its difficulties will be presented from a new perspective. Your inner spirit self will be available to guide you and aid you as you journey more fully, in balance together, as a team.

Your outer world is your game board; your inner world is your point of command, of decision making, of recognition, and your greatest advisor. I ask that you take a moment, My Dear Readers, to construct the story of your life, even if only a brief sketch of it, as a most necessary journey. Do not wallow in the sorrow of it, but observe the wonder of it. Ask your outer self, your ego self, to accept the challenges of your journey, as a warrior accepts the challenges of battle, going forth as an impeccable partner. Ask your mature inner self to come forth as a wise one, fully aware of your past as a most necessary life story, so that your two selves could meet at this point of recognition and alignment, as a wise warrior.

Your life story belongs to you alone, My Dears, though you meet and greet many people along the way. Your dependence upon others is necessary, yet are you constantly being presented with choices and decisions that only you can make. Only you can truly take your journey. Many elect to slumber through many lifetimes, riding along on the energy of others, never fully taking their own journey, though many attempts to jolt them awake are made.

I ask you today: Are you being jolted awake? Are you being shown, in your outer world, that the only thing you need now is a greater connection with your inner world? Are you balancing these two worlds, these two selves, the warrior and the wise one? Are you ready to teach the self, by allowing for trust in your journey to flourish and guide you?

My questions are many. As teacher and guide I do not give you all the answers, but I pose new questions so that you, My Dear Ones, may awaken to the wise warrior within, who is waiting to guide and teach you how to live, how to love, how to navigate your own life, based on your unique and exquisite story, and on your fullest potential.

Your path ahead is always golden, if you allow your self to trust such an idea, if you allow your inner energy to glow more strongly, and if you maintain energetic balance between your wise inner self and your ego warrior self, in companionable coexistence. Live a life based on the potential to evolve to wholeness, seeking completion of the cycles of reincarnation, so that you may discover what lies beyond.

#519 This is a Carrying Forth Time

Jeanne Marie Ketchel
Channeled by Jan Ketchel

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have a message for us today?

Now is a time of detachment and retreat into the inner self, a time to pull back and assess the energy of the self, now that shift and change have indeed occurred. The time of turmoil, unrelenting aggravation, and testing, now lapses into a time of calm retreat.

I suggest that balance of self become a force and a source of direction and attention over the next few days, so that any changes and any decisions made over the past few weeks may be solemnly solidified, contemplated, and securely owned, as individual and necessary moves on your part.

This is also a time of simplification, best expressed in detaching from objects (material and otherwise) and from attention to the busyness of the world outside of you, and allowing the self to accept the facts of grief and sadness that surely attend to change. With change is there apt to follow a period of happiness and buoyancy, but this may soon be followed by the old friends and foes, of fear and complacency, in habit and condition. If these old attendants come forth to serve your needs, I suggest that you dismiss them immediately, without regret, bidding them farewell, acknowledging their long servitude, but simply saying, no thanks!

Move on now into the new world that lies at your feet. Look around at all that you have freed yourself from and admire the open road ahead with little debris and conflict on the horizon. The next trick to overcome is to avoid becoming trapped by the false idea that you need to replace, refill, or return to a similar life of busyness, clutter, and outward focus. This is not the next step. It is not necessary to pull toward you compensating goods or relationships, treasures or comforts, but it is a time to experience the joy of simplicity and pureness of inner calm, detached, in a new solitude that is energetically beneficial, but also healing.

In the long run, your focus must remain on this ultimate goal of healing the self, through simplification of outer life, stillness, and awareness of inner life, with appreciation for the inner knowing self to speak its words of wisdom to you as you make your way. In detachment will you find your calm inner self, the one who knows and recognizes the correct path. Only in allowing this knowing self to become your next partner and traveling companion will you find your way to the healing path ahead.

Do not focus on what you have lost, what you have turned your back on, or asked to depart, but focus now on finding the best methods of healing the self, so that inner balanced calm may remain your energetic focus. With healing will come clarity so that, eventually, you will emerge from the fog, parting the misty veils, so that you may emerge from the consequences of your decisions and discover that they were, oh, so right. Your healing will come on struggling wings, but eventually will they lift and carry you forward into new life.

Do not be afraid or fearful of leaving something or someone behind, or doubt your self during this time, for this is a carrying forth time. This is the final push forward into new life, soon upon you. Your clarity of self recently gained must be your anchor, and your desire to evolve and experience the magic of life must be your wings. Your energy must affix itself to continued simplification, inner balance and calm, and optimistic peering into the future, for soon the sun will rise and the horizon will clear, the calm of the new day will greet you with its clarity and its rightness of decision. Your healing powers lie within, based on the decisions made in your outer life. This is how you must continue to weigh your decisions and challenges, based on the correct balance of inner hope and outer desire, simplifying your life to its essence, and living in calm and steady healing peace.

It’s not that hard to do. Once you make the decision to move forward, the greatest challenge is to not look back in regret, sorrow, or doubt. Everything lies before you, full of light, love, and fullness of life. Everything behind you is already known, done, and fulfilled. Turn forward now. Look back only for clarity, to punctuate your decisions made, and to acknowledge that your challenges have been well-met, and your journey fully understood as a necessary path toward enlightenment.

Your recapitulation, if done with a sense of wonder and compassion for the self and others you have encountered on your journey, will become your healing path and, eventually, your looking back will not draw you so strongly, but be viewed as the truthful and meaningful path it was always intended to be.

Take your pride at your accomplishments and put it to sleep now. Allow your calmness to guide you through the frustration, anger, and tendencies that will arise and ask for your attention, for that is their job. Invite your newfound balance to hold you steady and your healing intent to lead you to your place of light, which is lying just beyond the next door. Keep going, My Dear Ones; you are all doing well!

#517 Your Greatest Enemy is Your Old Self

Jeanne Marie Ketchel
Channeled by Jan Ketchel

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have guidance for us today? Your messages are greatly appreciated by many people around the world. Your guidance is sound and we continue to be so grateful for our connection with you.

Today, I wish to stress the implications of not listening to the inner guidance of the self, the quiet voice that also speaks its own sound advice, for all of you have this ability to connect to the greater guidance available.

Tune in first to your inner self and get to know who you are as a spiritual energy being. Begin to recognize the signs of your capitulation to old ways, old habits, and old patterns of behavior, and understand that such regression draws you further from your anchoring and truthful inner self. Such regression, although damaging, is not fateful, but, if further embedding is allowed, your retreat from its talons may be slowed or stopped in its tracks.

Your greatest enemy is your old self. Your greatest ally is your ancient self, newly emerging, as you take your journey into truth. Allow this emerging self, this spiritual self connected to all things, to be your guide. As you attain new awareness, your ability to maintain new heights of attention must be cultivated. Your ability to bring your self back to this achievement of enlightenment is your greatest battle as you progress.

Each step you take must be viscerally logged and remembered, retained for future reference, but also future recall at a moment’s notice. As you take your journey, your latest steps must be recounted, but all your past steps must not be forgotten, or you risk falling into the hands of the old self.

Although your eyes are on the future, do not lose sight of the lessons you have learned, and the daily insights you must attend to. In order to maintain awareness, a new training in awareness of your journey must be a constant reminder of your enlightenment and your actual progress. I do not wish to speak in riddles, but to clearly state that awareness is key to your continued juggling of life’s challenges and life’s guidance.

Do not forget where you have been. Do not lose sight of your goal. Do not lose the insights you have gained, nor the deeper connection to self as motivator, as instigator, as investigator, as proclaimer, as archeologist, creator, and guide to your history upon that earth. Your time now may be your evolutionary time, if you can maintain awareness of all that is meaningfully presented to you, continually holding onto the facts that are showing you why and what for you are granted such lessons and such promise.

Your time now is a growing time, but it is also, absolutely, an awakening time. You are being offered a link to inner awareness so long buried by the outer world’s promises and structures of glory. But, in truth, those outer contexts unseat your inner self from its grounding and force you to project outward that which already exists within. Your growth is attached to reconnecting the thin lines of dialogue and spurring new energy into the inner passageways to the true self.

So today, I ask that you be aware of how you are prompted to forget this inner self, how you are constantly snipping the lines of connection, and how you are offered the fog of oblivion to teach you what you need to know. The fogs and veils that confuse and hide your truths are present as teachers, so do not wish them away too quickly, but use them to hone your skills of clarity and intent. Use them to seek deeper, to turn further inward for your answers to life, rather than allow them to fog your insights and blur your vision of the true path at your feet.

Make practical decisions, take pragmatic steps, remain honest, giving, and compassionately loving in the outer world that gives you everything you need to be allowed to take your inner journey. Learn to trust that the outer world is as much your guide, your protector, your teacher, as your inner world and your inner connections are. You will find what you need in your outer world to point you in the right direction in your inner world. The two worlds are synchronized so that you may grow. They may appear to be in conflict, but I suggest that this is, in fact, not so, for they each seek only to teach you how to evolve.

I hope my guidance may continually aid you, My Dear Readers. If you ask your self to constantly maintain awareness of self as a journeyer upon a new path of magic and enlightenment, with awareness of each step of your travels through life as equally meaningful and full of guidance as the next, so may you always remain open to life’s glory and desire, as well as its true commitment to you as an individual seeking growth.

#516 Establish a Practice of Inner Centering

Jeanne Marie Ketchel
Channeled by Jan Ketchel

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have a message for us today?

Today, I suggest taking some time to center the self, with inner centering, heart-centering if you prefer. Do this often, for only in centering the self will you be prepared for the energy outside of you as it comes to shake you up, propel you along, or flow with you, as you make your way.

A practice of inner centering is good to establish no matter what the outer energy is doing. Inner centering is a basic and practical method of establishing calmness and balance, but it will also allow you to be more energetically conducive and appropriate in your life.

With inner centering you may notice that the energy outside of you is not so interesting or so disruptive. With inner centering you may notice that your old habits are not so greedy for your attention, and your big baby self may slumber more peacefully. With inner centering you may find that your mature adult self is much more interesting to have around because your awareness may peak and wish for greater exploration and continued presence in your life. With inner centering as a daily practice you may find that you learn what it means to be compassionately detached, compassionately loving, and compassionately present in your world. With inner centering your own presence upon that earth may be more acceptable to outer energy, more conducive to spiritual work, and more prepared for what may come.

Your presence upon that earth is your greatest certainty at this moment. You do exist upon that plane. How you choose to exist is up to you. Are you seeking solace and happiness, calmness and love, energetic flow and greater awareness? If you are at all interested in being an evolving energy being, I highly suggest that a practice of inner centering become your means of attaining not only momentary calm, but greater awareness of self, of others, of your environment, and of the greater world around you, both physically and energetically.

Sit calmly. You need not take any special actions, unless you prefer a stricter routine. Simply sitting alone, releasing your thoughts, and focusing on either your heart-center, or any other chakra center of the body, is certainly appropriate. Breathe gently and directly into the chakra area you choose to accept as your place of calm, or simply breathe softly and gently without focus, if you prefer. It does not really matter. What does matter is that you allow your self a calm respite as you begin to more fully accept your self for who you are now, without judgment, without worry, without sadness, or anger, or disturbance of any sort. Simply be. Suspend the self in momentary calm. Allow the self to be nothing more than energy riding your calm breathing; a gentle energetic being asking nothing, needing nothing, wanting nothing, for a few moments. In such reverie will you begin to awaken your own energy self. In such calmness will you begin to tap into resonant energy, and you will begin to find that this practice of inner centering will give you more energy, but it will also begin to shift your awareness of your outer world. The more you do it the more you will find that your presence upon that earth will become more defined, more meaningful, and your purpose clearer.

As you elect to more fully embrace the self as an energy being, your physical world, with its problems, aches and pains, worries and stresses, will not appear so overwhelming. Your channel to your own calm happiness and mature energetic self will open wider and remain open. Your big baby will slumber more often, and your relationships will blossom with new understanding.

In an ideal world, everyone would choose to do such inner calm centering before each meeting, each discussion, each decision, each confrontation, each choice; before each process undertaken, or step that must be made. If such practice became more common then you would, indeed, begin to see great change.

I wish you, My Dear Ones, calm inner centering. Give your self a gift today, a moment’s respite, but also a moment’s energy!
