It is sometimes hard to accept the inevitable changes that life delivers, to deal with what comes. A warrior soon learns that change brings more than just the first blow or shock of newness. It also brings what is right.

And so a warrior suspends judgment, suspends trying to correct or fix that which is inevitable, knowing that something else is on its way to show the next step, bringing new life. And so a warrior is patient, making plans, yet aware that the universe is unfolding at its own pace and the best plan is to meet it head on, ready to flow with what comes, knowing that in the end all will be as it will be.

And yet, even as a warrior acquiesces to the inevitable unfolding of life without, a warrior is always aware of how best to react from within. Without taking things personally, a warrior is always ready to flow without attachment, knowing that no matter what happens there is always the adventure of new life on the horizon.

A new day dawns with new promise and yet promises previously made require attention. Things must get done. There are chores to attend to and responsibilities to be met. Even so, keep in mind that it IS a new day, everything is different, and the possibilities are endless. You never know what might happen. Be open, steady, attentive and aware, and remind yourself often throughout the day that all things are possible.

Denial serves no purpose except to delay, hold back, and illude. It creates blockages, impedes the flow of energy, the release of tension, and the revelation of important knowledge. Truth is blocked by denial. Life’s process though is not slowed by denial, for life and change continue nonetheless. Growth, however, is thwarted. Facing truths allows blocked energy to stir. Gradually release happens, relief comes with emptying, and new beginnings are offered.

During times of great change issues such as denial will make themselves known. When they do, it’s a good idea to face them, resolve them, and let your energy flow in a new direction. This is one of those times.

There is no way to turn off change. It comes naturally. A warrior is aware of this and yet a warrior does not get attached, even to the certainty of change, for a warrior knows that all which is natural is but energy in motion. And so a warrior’s attention is on that, on energy; how it works, how it can be utilized properly, and what it means. A warrior does not worry about change but looks toward what to do next, how to do it, and how to decide what is right. But a warrior is also always ready to change plans, for a warrior knows that as certain as change is it is equally uncertain. You never really know what’s going to happen. And so, like a warrior, be prepared for anything.

Changing times require changing strategies. Plans may need to be rethought, as things just may not work out as expected. When the energy shifts, old ideas fall away, no energy behind them anymore. New energy seeks new ideas, new seeds upon which to exert pressure and produce new momentum, new growth, and new life. Sometimes life just does not cooperate, but that does not mean you are at a loss. It just means you are at a new beginning.

Get your bearings where you are. Be fully present with what is. You will soon discover that life is actually full of promise. It’s just different from what you had planned but still full of potential. That’s what change brings, opportunity for something new.
