Like waves on the ocean, life is full of ups and downs. To be in the Tao is to easily adjust, to flow with the rhythms of life so that neither ups nor downs throw one off course. Mindful awareness offers the steadiness and balance that naturally seeks stability so that one is always in the Tao, flowing naturally with life’s rhythms no matter what comes along to tip one into the churning waters.

Steady your boat. Easy as she goes. The waves will come and come again, but then they will ease. Keep steady and straight. When mindfully in the Tao, working the rhythms, you will soon get where you need to go no matter the weather, no matter the waves of life. Set your course and sail!

A path with heart is the only path to know, the antidote to all that is out of balance, the correction to the turmoil both within and without. To focus on gentleness, kindness, love and compassion, to self and other, with the directness and strength of a warrior is to right the wrongs and equalize the energies of the chaos that now ensues. Where there is good there is evil, but where there is evil there is also good. A warrior chooses always to balance with a world of good.

Soulbyte for Sunday August 9, 2015

Do not grow angry or sad when the truth dawns. Do not harbor guilt or shame. Do not blame or regret, but take it with a measure of grace. Remind yourself that knowing the truth is far better than harboring illusions. Life is already full of too many illusions!

Look upon the truth revealed as your saving grace, for if used properly it will bring you the change you so desire, even the change you dare not whisper, that which you know is the deeper truth. One truth at a time is enough! Face it with the dignity you deserve, and then let each new truth be revealed and dealt with in the same honest and honorable manner. Eventually your life of illusions will be cleared, your path with heart equally cleared, and your journey one of bliss and joy. And isn’t that what you seek?
