#110 Contemplate Ego Today

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have a brief message of guidance for us today?

Drop anchor when necessary as you traverse the currents of life and of energy. Allow time for observation and deep self-work. This is best done in quiet removal, with your vessel firmly anchored so that your attention may be upon your self rather than the workings of your vessel.

As you anchor, observe the spot where you have chosen to stay afloat and notice what is in your vicinity. Observe others and the environment, taking in all that surrounds you, for it will have affect upon you as you tidy up your vessel and work upon your self, your inner self and your outer self.

I advocate plenty of work on the ego self, the big baby self, but also the big inflated ego self who seeks to drive you around. Shed false personas. Shed old ways and old attitudes. Shed old ideas of the self, and recapitulate lost memories so that you are freed of them. Do not allow the ego self, any aspect of it, to drive your vessel. Loss of ego is the next step in spirit growth. Though I request that you take care of your physical body, your vessel, I do not suggest that this become an egotistical focus, but rather a practical and sensible focus. Shedding ego relates to that which connects you too heavily to that world, encumbering you so that your vessel is akimbo in the water, listing to one side or the other, or lying too heavy in the water so that you are in danger of taking on water, or capsizing.

Contemplate ego today. What does it mean in your own life? How does it disrupt your journey? How does it hold you back and prevent your growth? How can you use it to aid you, but also how can you do without it once you have finished with it? Seek egolessness as you take your vessel into a quiet cove and lay anchor for a quiet time of observation, self-reflection, and ego-shedding. Strip your ego from you and allow the heavy remnants to sink to the murky bottom. Then advance on your journey when you have shed something that it has become apparent you must shed. Do this often as you journey and, eventually, will egolessness be a fine and normal state of awareness for you to enjoy.

#109 Tend to Your Own Words of Truth

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have some words of guidance for us today?

Political waves may come and go, but the wave of the inner spirit is constant, not attached to current expectations or commercialism, constant in its intent and in its steady presence. Do not attach to my words because they may seem appropriate for the times or your own needs to be in the flow of what is the next wave. Do not use me to promote your own fantasies of clairvoyance or ego building. I am not attached to such shuckstery. I introduce you to the truth of the inner spirit, and that is all. I am not the wave of the fanatical religions, or God or Jesus awareness. I am only alerting you to your own potential, your inner potential, steadily burning in desire of your noticing of it.

Do not attach to my messages as your only guidance. Please take them in and work them in your own inner world, and utilize then in the context of your own reality, not as the last word or the only word, but in combination with your own deepest truth. Only you know your own deepest truth, and only you can pluck from your knowing the resonance that allows you to understand and grow from my messages.

Do not use the wave of popularity of my words as a mantle, or a foil, for your own work. Yes, I offer superb guidance, that is acknowledged, but your own inner truth is your greatest guide. I fear that your reliance upon my words leaves you unattending to your own words of truth. Use my words to guide you to your own truth, not to take you away from them, but to point out where your own work must be done. Do not rely on my words alone to guide you, for if you do that, then are you not doing the work of the self.

When I encourage you to take the wheel of your own vessel I mean that metaphorically, in the sense that you must be in command of every move and decision you make, and you must own responsibility, and take on all consequences of your actions, and choices as well. But, I also mean that your vessel, your body, is also of prime importance on your journey, and when I speak of your vessel as your vehicle I speak of your physical body, and this too you are solely responsible for. How do you expect to navigate life and weather the difficult passages and the high seas if your vessel is not fit and well honed for such a voyage as life presents? Your vessel must be kept well prepared, well stocked, and well groomed, ready to handle, at a moment’s notice, anything that arises as you travel.

Should a big wave, an uncanny wave, come out of nowhere is your ship ready to handle the brunt of it, or will it blast you to smithereens? My own body, as Jeanne Marie Ketchel, did suffer greatly upon my journey on that earth. My own inner truth was difficult to perceive, and difficult to handle, and so my body responded to that truth, the truth that it had to bear, the truth unrevealed, carrying the burden of truth until it could no longer make the journey. In spite of my diligence and love of my vessel was it impossible to keep it going. Had I uncovered the deepest truths earlier, perhaps I could have carried along a little further with that little determined vessel. But in the end, my truth revealed set me free to another life, and another world. In telling you all this I urge upon you the diligent behavior of work on the self, all aspects of the self, the inner self and the outer self.

Do you follow my words because your ego self likes to be a part of such a phenomenon? Are you truly using what you learn, or are you simply attached to the idea of guidance from a known entity? If you listen to my words I fully expect that you are also doing the work that is required to encounter your deepest truths. Do not listen to or read my words simply because it is faddish or new wave. That does not suit my preference. My preference for all of you is that you work on the deepest issues of the self. And those issues are reflected in your vessel, your physical body, in terms of your health, your posture, your mental state, and your internal workings. Your body and your innermost issues are in sync, connected as twins, one revealed in the other.

So, today, as you traverse the river of your life, as you deal with what life throws at you, and as you read my words, turn inward and also look at yourself, your vessel, and make headway in colluding on honing both your inner self and your outer self. Both your spirit and your physical self need work. In all cases is this true. Synchronize your healing. Tend to your vessel today, inside and outside, and work deeply on your personal issues, and seek your deepest truths. This is the only way to successfully navigate life.

#108 Uncanniness of Life

So, what’s the word, Jeanne?
Uncanny, Janny! Uncanny is the way of the world and of the energy. You may believe you have everything figured out, going along nicely, in control, and then, FLIP! You are out of your boat, tossed overboard, or capsized by a wave, or a swell that came out of nowhere and caught you off guard. Be aware of the uncanniness of life, the ability of life to toss you off your vessel, to bring you down out of the clouds, and strike you with a new reality without a moment’s notice.

Realize that this uncanniness is very necessary. That the unpredictabilities of life are important markers, and how you react will show your growth, or show you that you are remaining caught in old ways. In order to grow must there be tests and change. Otherwise is life but a boring paddle on a quiet pond, a stagnant pond with little life. Look now out of the clouds, and maintain your readiness to react, and act, according to what you have now learned. When abruptness and change present themselves to you, realize that this is life. Swim back to your vessel, climb back on board, and grab the wheel, and right your ship. Take control and maneuver your way forward with firm conviction to stay on course even though you may be bruised and sopping wet, and even though the seas may be tremendous, dangerous, and rough to navigate. Do not allow that which comes at you out of nowhere to unseat you. Do not become overwhelmed by the uncanny events in your life. Do not become so enticed by outside influences that you lose your steadiness at the wheel. Yes, you may be blown overboard, but the new you must instinctively swim back to your vessel and, at all costs, regain control.

Life seeks to move you along. It will not allow you too great a respite, just enough, and then will it say, Come on, let’s get going, let’s have some action, some change, and some growth. Let’s put your learnings, and your new knowledge, and your new habits to the test. Let’s live. Let’s abide by the new rules of life. And, ultimately, let’s grow.

I offer good advice, my fine traveling companions, but, ultimately, your life and your growth depend upon you, your actions, your reactions, and your ability to practice all that you learn, so that when the uncanny winds come out of nowhere your instinct is honed to perfection, and you know, without a doubt, what to do, to not only save yourself, but return to your vessel, firmly in command, and navigate through the rough waters of change wrought by the uncanniness of life. Good luck in the energy of the day, and in the uncanny waves of life.

#107 Seek Truth

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have a word of guidance for today?

There is energy now upon that earth that seeks to uncover truths. There is time now to scrutinize and study your own truths as they are revealed to you. What is being shown to you today? What does the energy seek to uncover specifically for you?

Even as the world around you does swirl in frantic daily activity, even as your time of clarity may be brief, seek truth as you go about your day. Seek to find deeper meaning in the confrontations that arise throughout your day. Do not fall upon your knees as in the past, weighted down by old habits and behaviors, but stay upright, bold, and firmly seeking truth and knowledge that are necessary aspects of your growth.

Follow your new abilities to navigate, stay in command, and steer your course for yourself now, finding your way through the channels, avoiding the rocks in the water, and the other vessels that might seek too closely to your nearness. Remain aware of your position at all times so that you do not sway from your course, or get drawn by unnecessary desires. Remain firmly planted at the wheel of your vessel, and steer yourself clear of debris. Your way is charted, your truth revealed, your narrow channel there before you. Your job today is to find it, navigate it, clear the decks, and keep going. Seek Truth!

#106 Stop Building Dams

Dear Jeanne,
Do you have a message for us today?

Enact now change and the energy will support you. Be your own guide, the captain of your ship, and the sole owner of your vessel. Become the ultimate director of your journey, your fate, and your destiny. NOW is the time to finally be the real you.

I push this upon you with increasing force because the time is right, the flow of energy is right, and it is time for you, all of you, to finally accept responsibility and become the one in control. Alert the big baby that toddler time is over, that diaper changing is over, that pacifiers are being thrown away. Bed down now that recalcitrant inner ego child, the one who seeks control, who overthrows your wise decision making, and mutinizes your ship. It is now time to bunk the big baby and take over the progress of your life, fully in control, with maturity and adult knowing fully in command. Allow your spirit to tap into the energy it feels. Allow it to guide you as you navigate the waters of your life.

I use water metaphors to emphasize flow, flow of energy, and flow of life, and also to allow you to understand that life is like water in how it continues on, unstoppable, no matter what barriers are put up, constructed, to keep back the flow. Eventually is there need to allow water to escape, or all barriers will be forced down. Think of a dam and how powerful must be that dam to hold back the force of water. Your own life force is as strong as that water and seeks escape, or it will force you into life situations whether you are ready or not.

Stop building dams and allow your life force, your energy, the water of you to flow naturally, freely, and unencumbered now. Allow free flowing life to become your main focus and you will allow yourself to meet, to join, and to grow, exponentially, with the energy now upon that earth.

Open the dam gates slowly, but with conviction, and allow your energy to escape into the river of energy that flows briskly alongside your dammed up pond of stagnant energy. Allow yourself to finally experience life anew now, with energetic force, and potential as your catalyst, and your inner spirit as your guide.

As I have instructed, take over steering your own vessel. But, how can you get anywhere if your vessel is landlocked or far from water? You must place your vessel now into the flow, upon the river of life, and begin a new journey. Let your spirit guide you, but keep your adult self in command, even as your innocence grants you permission to take this journey. Leave your ego behind now, and tuck the big baby asleep, and grab your truth, your innocent awakening spirit, and go on a new journey. It’s time!
