Lessons in Life: I Am More Than My Physical Body

Who am I? Why am I really here, for what purpose? Where am I going?

Such questions plagued me during childhood and well into early adulthood. Turmoil within and without kept me going, focused on getting on with life, getting away and out into the world. I couldn’t wait to be on my own, taking responsibility for myself, and yet at the same time another part of me was viscerally frightened. That fear manifested in my physical body.

Most of the time I felt so dissociated from what was going on outside me, so singularly solitary, not really part of life. It wasn’t until I began exploring the deeper issues that lived inside me, like alive beings just waiting for me to find them, that some broader answers and new perspectives began to appear. As I relaxed my physical body, letting go of my fears, I gained access to so much more of the world, and beyond this world. My whole viewpoint expanded as a result. I discovered that I was so much more than my physical self.

As renowned out-of-body explorer Robert Monroe contends: You are more than your physical body. Remember this always, he says: You are more than your physical body.

Life is not all that it seems, as it appears or as we think of it. There IS so much more. We are ancient beings, living in the present, searching our pasts for clues to those questions. Who am I? Why am I really here, for what purpose? Where am I going?

To truly become a full-fledged student of Earth School we must take on characteristics of a student warrior, becoming strong in mind and body while simultaneously becoming kind and gentle beings. We learn what it means to become a warrior as we study ourselves in our lives, the past, the present, and as we face what we want our future to look like. That part is totally up to us, to carve out what we will. We have the power to do that right now. The power lies in the decisions we make every day.

A warrior takes full responsibility for the self, recognizing the self as being more than a physical body, as being a participant in life on earth to learn something. We each have something to learn during our lifetime, a singularly personal issue to figure out and resolve. Our time in Earth School, if we are to see it that way and meet the challenge of our issue, requires that we become good students, eager to learn all that we can while we are here.

At some point in our lives we are given the opportunity to wake up. In fact, wake-up calls come all the time. We will answer when we are ready. When we do, we begin to discover that, indeed, we ARE so much more than just our physical bodies. And then the real adventures in Earth School begin.

I propose that Monroe’s directive become a personal mantra. Keep saying it until it makes sense. “I am more than my physical body.” You are more than you think you are. Your thoughts may have shaped who you are now, but you have the power to reshape yourself.

Earth School isn’t such a bad place to be if you take a Warrior class, if you decide that you want to find deeper meaning and purpose, if you decide you really do want to evolve. You can be your own teacher. All you need is your determination and intent to change, and your new mantra: I am more than my physical body!

Start with that and see where it leads. You never know what you might discover about yourself as you begin to experience life outside of the physical. The door is always open to Earth School. It must be experienced to have true impact. Full participation required! You just have to decide to walk through, open up, and enjoy the lessons!

I am more than my physical body,
Jan

To look upon your time upon Earth as a learning ground, a university of living, the education of the Soul, is to truly embrace the warrior’s way. To become fully aware of everything as part of a bigger plan, for all beings to become increasingly aware but also detached from that same life and plan, is to take ownership of the entire course of study. To advance is always the warrior’s intention and so a warrior seeks to become not only a great student of life, but to earn the highest reward: final graduation from Earth School and readiness for what comes next!

A warrior never regrets. A warrior is aware that everything is part of the unfolding of life. All decisions, choices and events make up the drama of a lifetime. A warrior knows there is no going back and no time to waste on regrets. A warrior quickly moves on, taking forward the lessons learned, for a warrior is always a student of life, ready to learn from the experiences that come every day to teach.

Chuck’s Place: It’s A Matter Of Necessity

Got into a heated argument on Independence Day. I maintained that, despite her lackluster performance thus far, it couldn’t be more appropriate that Hillary become the next President of the United States. Indeed, in part, I objectify and symbolize her, but I see it is time for the beleaguered feminine to come to power and cleanse itself from its distorted masculine wrappings, a necessary event in our transforming of the world. In my opinion, Hillary fits the bill! My debating partner was so incensed by my argument that he stopped just short of committing his vote to Jeb!

On Sunday, a far more meaningful Independence Day occurred. Greece, the birthplace of democracy, resoundingly rejected the Euro Zone’s “indentured servitude” referendum via popular vote. The beleaguered feminine has taken on the masculine greed.

The feminine is Gaia, the manifested world. It it because of the manipulation of Gaia, through the distorted masculine self-serving materialistic aims and games, that we find ourselves so dangerously out of balance.

Interestingly, the US Women’s Soccer Team emerged victorious the same night of Greece’s victory. Indeed, the feminist must and will come to power now to stem the tides of destruction and move us toward a new balance.

This morning, as Jan and I entertained Robert Monroe’s Ultimate Journey, we were led to his encounter with an eighteen-hundred-year-old human, still alive in human form, though Monroe met him on the astral plane. Monroe called the being Heshe, as his appearance reflected a moment to moment shifting of masculine and feminine, the ultimate balance. Heshe spoke of the role of being an organizer, a facilitator awaiting the time of necessity when change would not only be needed but would happen on a grand scale. “This will happen through recognized necessity, not through religions, race, or political beliefs, or force of arms.” Basically, Heshe explained that this would come about because the world would be in rough shape.

We are in that time now. Greece’s defiance, just like Iraq and Syria’s ISIS, is the rumbling of the ancient archetypes seeking change. Gaia herself is delivering the greatest blows in our rapidly changing physical environment.

The change that is coming is the Heshe of necessity. Human beings will become beings whose masculine spirit will serve the true heartfelt needs of the material feminine. Governance will transcend the selfish to arrive at the selfless. This is not about a world of unbridled caretaking and entitlement, of being overtaken by the feminine, but a natural merging of masculine and feminine. No one can be rescued from the challenges of their life, and we cannot be rescued either from the challenges of our time. We must all assume responsibility.

On the other hand, the time of unbridled greed will have passed of necessity, simply unsustainable. This will offer the gateway for Heshe. And thus the ushering in of Hillary as President of the United States makes perfect sense.

Of course, I don’t know what will happen. As Greece has proven, you never know what choices will be made. But what is clear is that the feminine must be redeemed and assume its rightful role, come to equal power with its Heshe partner. It’s a matter of necessity, now more than ever.

Always optimistic,
Chuck

A warrior’s journey leads ultimately inward, for a warrior is intent upon attaining spiritual prowess, finding the energy that burns from within. For it is this energy that seeks higher awareness, fuller consciousness, and new life. The warrior’s spirit without seeks always connection with the flame of the spirit of the warrior within. When this connection is made, when the flame is burning full force, all will be in alignment, and then anything is possible.
