Set your intent to change and like a dog searching for a buried bone go after it with all you’ve got. Sometimes you’ll get off course, but like that dog with its superior nose, get right back on it again. Change can happen overnight, unforeseen change, but most intended change takes a slower more determined route requiring attention, discipline, the ability to say no and the capacity to actually take beneficial action so that the path of change remains the main focus. It is a struggle, as anyone who has sought to change a habit will note, but struggle is what marks that change is actually taking place. Keep your struggle alive by pushing it along, like that little dog with its nose to the ground, one step and one day at a time.
Sending you love,
