Healing Balm

Leonard Cohen, the innerly soulful poet and musician, gently closed the door of an era, dying this past Monday night, election eve. He left us with a touch of the eternal in his final album, You Want it Darker, which we highly recommend for deep spiritual renewal and communion. Hallelujah, Leonard! Hello Marianne!

As we begin this new era of ego and the dark side we recommend as well the movie, Dr. Strange, which distills the tools of The Matrix, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and the spiritual wisdom of the Aquarian Age, a fitting reminder of our own potential and mortality as we embark upon the coming challenges before us in this world.

The journey continues in all worlds. May we find deep renewal and refueling as we prepare for the next leg of the journey.

Peace, love, and wisdom,

Chuck & Jan

Don’t be afraid. Everything will be alright. The sun will rise. The sun will set. Life goes on. The day begins, the day unfolds, all things come to pass that are meant to be. Be mindful always of the self. Do not live with abandon but with mindfulness. Do not live carelessly but cautiously, aware of how you impact the earth and those around you. Do not live greedily but tend to all things with a measure of grace, taking only what you need and in proper balance, giving appropriately, for you are the future and your choices matter, always.

A Message for Humanity from Jeanne: A New Sisterhood

It is time for women to come together, to take the torch of loving kindness and compassion from she who has gone before and carry it forward. Time to stop bickering, name calling, judging, and pointing fingers at each other and instead value, respect, and appreciate one another for your diversities and talents. It is in a new sisterhood of loving heart that the world will find its right path again.

It is in the woman who holds the place of gounding in emotion, feeling, and love that the world will be the all-inclusive, compassionate place you all seek. It is truly the time of the feminine though it may be hard to see that right now, but it is in the overthrow of the dominant masculine that rules the world that this will become apparent.

Women, do your work quietly, soberly, in step with Mother Nature and her nature inside you, for you are the embodiment of life and love, feared by many, but do not fear it in yourself, for if you do not tend the torch of love it will go out.

Do not flaunt your power or show all your cards but keep in your knowing heart the calm truth that the heart always wins in the end. Stay calm and carry the torch quietly within. Do your duty to self and other in steady and humble work, keeping the intent of change always in your heart. This you know you are fully capable of.

This is not the time of the angry, arrogant, or overpowering goddess but the time of the nurturing loving goddess. Learn what that means as you embody her and all will be well in the world.

The ocean has many waves. A powerful wave will wash ashore, but alas, soon comes another—ceaselessly. All waves have something to contribute.

The Obama wave has been an unprecedented wave of change. The Hillary and Bernie waves followed in its wake, but clearly the undertow of these waves have given way to the Trump wave, a very powerful conservative counterpoint to the unprecedented changes of the past eight years.

This is the yin and yang of life. When the power of what rules the earth becomes so great that it swallows the light of the heavens, that light becomes sparks of light in the belly of the earth.

Those  sparks of light cannot be put out, but they must accept their humble position and keep the candlelight alive, shielded deep within the heart. That flame must be tended; it is the flame of the eternal and it resides within.

In a time of outer darkness, go inward and tend your inner flame, a flame which will never go out. Appreciate that the outer changes we are experiencing are part of nature too and must be respected and valued.

Those changes must happen, and in time the next wave will appear, and the flames tended now will coalesce into a collective light that will steady the course with unprecedented clarity.

No one is at fault here. We are all part of the same world. Sometimes consciousness takes the helm, sometimes nature’s imperative. We are finding our way to new balance. Hold loving kindness in your heart that we might hold together and embrace the wholeness of our mighty earth dream.

With loving kindness,

Chuck
